tishtash

Getting closer everyday
Did any of you watch it? makes me glad im not eatin!! ugggghhhh:sign0137:

OH....MY....GOD!!!!

I saw it too:eek: I've always had my suspitions about shop bought sandwiches....seeing that programme will make my maintainance soooo much easier!!!!!
XXX

OMGoodness....I'm not eating 'ham' again and I'd only buy a pre-packaged sarnie from Boots now.

Did you see the factory that made the sandwiches!!! HOW DISCUSTING was it!!!!!

hope its on again cos i missed it

oh dear, doesnt sound good. will prob b on again, those dispatches programmes are repeated constantly.

tell meeeeeeeeeeee.........

can you watch it on the net?? can anyone find it, i;m useless at finding stuff like that.

It was certainly sensational stuff. I dont understand why they excluded low-fat and diet sandwiches from the study.... maybe because that would have made the overall percentages not so sensational.
Also, I would have liked to see at the end what was the most healthy sandwich available, not just an averaging of all the sandwiches of a particular chain.
The expose of the sandwich factory was certainly an eye-opener:eek:. And the bits that go in to making ham. Absolutely gross.
Makes you think twice about processed food.

Wait a minute..... Lipotrim is a highly processed food, wonder what goes in to it and how it is made:(

I wouldn't worry about LT hun.....its done through pharmacists...I'm confident the packing conditions will be lovely and clean. It will all be done by machines I would assume.

Did you see the iodine test on the so called 'chicken sarnie'....ewwww. What the heck are you eating.

The only negative thing about M&S was that the sandwiches are very high fat (VERY.....often more fat in one M&S sarnie then in two double cheeseburgers:eek:), but I would assume the packing conditions are nothing like that horrid factory. Did you see when he picked the Pittas out of the bin...ewww. And he picked the container up off the floor (where rats have been) and put it on the counter where they were making the sandwiches....and that women sneezed onto the food. EWW EWW EWW EWW EWW. All horrid.

The moral of the story.

When off LT.....MAKE YOUR OWN SARNIES (or buy them from Boots).

I'd like to think LT is made in a big pink building by robots called Bob :p xx

I missed this programme can anyone please tell me if this was shown on ITV or BBc so i can watch it on line.

Its amazing what goes on behind closed doors!!!:confused:

thanks sweety cheeks and witchie, would try and catuch up with it.:)

i think the worst about that factory was how they went the toilet in their protective clothes and gloves, didn't take them off and didn't change them.....gross gross gross. The whole program really made me think! i chose s*b*ay over m*c d*n*l*s as thought it would be healthy as u pick what goes in! how naive am i?
