Considering being CDC, any advice?

Well, reckon the title says it all. I figure if I'm going to control my weight for the rest of my life I'd like to help others along the journey too. There doesn't appear to be a CDC in my town so that's a start. Suppose it might be best to speak to my CDC at Wednesdays weigh in but meanwhile I'd love to hear what's involved, please.
