oh dear what to do what to do???
i promised a friend of mine that i would take her to cadbury world this coming week for her birthday.....obviously before i started the diet.
how can i cope im such a chocoholic :(

If you are on bars, bring one with you to have nibbles at when you need it. If not, try having a chocolate shake before you go to satisfy the sweet craving. I don't have a proper shaker but bought two small tupperwear cups with screw on lids and split shake pack between the two as they're easier to hand shake that way.......you could bring these in your bag with a bottle of water if you need to have a sweet drink along the journey - be strong, I know you can do it!
 
Awww you poor thing and very brave! I don't think I could go there as I too am such a chocoholic. Is there anyway you can suggest somewhere else to go and explain why and then take her next year? When I have been before they keep handing you chocolate and I am not sure if I could cope with that - sorry, probably not what you wanted to hear, but maybe you could say that if you go next year, you can both enjoy the experience together? x
 
I have moved our trip there to Christmas hols, using the excuse that summer hols should be used to do outdoor things.

you know they dont hand out free choccies anymore:p so thats a good thing! just keep yourself busy on the tour! and have a bottle of water in your hand so you dont get tempted! we're going soon aswell!
 
I went about 12-18 months ago and they were still hanging out free choc's and tastings. If you have a weakness for choc the aroma all round the tour may be difficult.
 
I didn't realise they stopped giving out chocolate... they still do that essence thing, where they give you liquid chocolate to create your own thing by adding an ingredient of your choice, ooooh yummy, yummy.

Must..... stop.... thinking of chocolate!!!! x
 
^they dont hand out chocolate as freely as they used to like waay back in the day. you get a few samples i think and then the huge shop to buy from!
 
ahh I see - well last time I went they weren't handing out loads - we probably had 3 bars at most and the liquidy thing.

Sim94 - I don't think I could cope with that aroma without wanting to eat it - oh I wish I hated chocolate!! haha
 
if i wasnt dreaming about that lovely dress to fit into... omg random thought while typing my dress is made outta chocolate!

When I went I got discount tickets from Lastminute.com. They gave use about 6 bars of choc and they is a constant smell of choc in the air. They also gave use a ticket for the staff shop where you get even bigger discounts.

Hmmm I am not sure we're helping Bridie and I definitely don't think I am helping myself!! lol!!

I think I may have to step away from the thread or go and grab my chocolate tetra and just dream!! haha

LOL, oh yes forgot we suppose to be helping sorry.

Choc Tetra or a CD bar is a good idea.
 
hehe thanks for all the fab suggestions much apreciated... im going to take a choc shake AND a bar lol that way im not too deprived.

sorry shouldnt have got you all talking about chocolate :)
