support please!!!

hi!!

i'm new to the site...and lipotrim!! i'm on day 4 and am really struggling!! i feel really weak, sick and hungry all the time!!! does this really pass after week one??

i'm also finding that i'm weighing myself every morning....!! on the days when i'm losing...its great inspiration...but i'm not losing anything significant every day...am i expecting too much??

i only have a couple of stone to lose...but i'm very determined!! is anyone else in a similar situation who can offer some words of wisdom or support..??

hi curly-girlie,
im also on day 4 and im feeling the same as you, i really could do with a double cheese burger and chips....lol

I really have'nt been too bad, i would say today is the worst....

Are you drinking enough (taste-less) water??
how much do you think you have lossed this week?

Hi CG & Phillip,

Day 4/5 was my worst day too.It will pass...honest. Drink plenty of water and try to keep your mind off food by keeping busy. Maybe have a warm drink or a nice hot bath. Its just a craving. It will be worth it when you go for your weigh in.
CG I STILL weigh myself everyday too. I have tried not to but I failed :D. The only scales I take notice of are the ones in the pharmacy though;) Hope you both feel better soon :)

i've been drinking just over 2 litres of water a day...is that about right??

and i've lost 4lbs in total since monday...which in itself is amazing...its just on day 3 i didn't lose a thing. do you think its best not to weigh ourselves until our official weigh ins?? have you weighed yourself since you started?

are you having palpitations or anything?? my heart seems to be beating quite hard today!! i can see my necklace pulsating as we speak!! is that normal??!!

when i tell my friends in work about this diet they shout at me and tell me i'm being stupid (easy for them to say....skinny minnies!!)-so it really helps to speak to like-minded people!! :)

thats freaky...funny you should say that... i had some palpitations this morning... i was going to actually quit LT...

Im only drinking around 2 litres a day, i really think thats enough... well thats what LT recommend on the bag, and im happy with that!!!

My scales at home are funny at times, when i started, my scales said i was 17st 3.... at the shop , my weight was 17st 7... i did jump on the scales today at home for a peek and im 16st 13, so im really dont know, im just going to stick to the chemist scales.

how are you feeling now?

thats weird!! i was 4lb heavier on the chemist scales too!!!

and our wight loss seems around the same so far too...so we're both on track then!!!

do you normally drink tea or coffee?? i don't when i'm not on this diet...but i have been to try and perk me up whilst i've been on lipotrim...so perhaps that would explain the palpitations...??

i'm not sure that i'm not looking for something to give me an excuse to quit to be honest!!!

i feel a bit better now i'm talking to someone in the same boat!!! thanks for replying!!!

hi, my days are like this
8am coffee
10am tea
11am LT shake
1pm Tea
7pm LT shake
9pm Tea

And in between water...

I dont know if anyone else has had palpitations on this, but maybe its our bodies getting into burning mod...

If you have any worries, contact you chemist, just to say whats going on..,
don't worry nothing bad will happen, palpitations can be down to anything..

Hope your feeling awee bit better....i did really crap myself this morning as there not nice...

Also before i started LT, i done enough research to please me.

Hiya CG & welcome to the site :)

The hunger pangs absolutely will pass in a week max :) Ketosis brings on a wave of energy & loss of hunger... in fact you find yourself being detached from food entirely :)

Good luck & be strong :)

hi both,

i went through hell the first week, stick with it, it will get better. i feel mostly normal now and my energy level has picked up.

as for the palpatations, that is prob from caffine, i have more coffee now than before as i get bored with water. try switching to decaff, you cant really tell the diff anymore. the dvd does say to not increase or decrease your caffine levels.

as for water, 2 litres is a minimum, i try to get to three, some people manage more. the more you can flush the ketones out, the more you can lose weight. think of water as fat flushing!

good luck, and what ever you do, dont give in without proper advice, from the pharm, there is generally a simple explanation for symptoms and most will pass within the first week to ten days.

Chuck your scales in the bin...or at least give them away until you have finished with LT ... Your weigth fluctuates soo much during the day and it can be disheartening!
Yeah, only the official weigh ins count!
I felt very wierd day 3 & 5 best to take it easy...its your bodies last attempt to fight getting into ketosis...Which you are nearly in!! stay strong, have lots of water and you should wake up tomorrow feeling tons better!
The hunger goes away within your first week...anything after that is mind games and head hunger..or better known as habit! so never give in after your first few weeks you will not think about food and become attached and by then you could have lost around 2 stone?!?
It is soooooo worth it!!!
So KEEP STRONG, DRINK SHAKES, FORGET FOOD AND MELT THAT FAT, to relieve the new slimmer you xxx

Welcome hun.

Get out of the habit of weighing yourself everyday, try it just once a week midway between official weigh ins if you can't not weigh! I will only weigh myself at home first thing and often forget. My scale are pretty naff anyway, they are never the same as the pharmacists!

The first week is the toughest but it does get easier, honestly! Just keep focussing on your first WI and how great you will feel when you find out how much you have lost.

Good luck.

x
