Sesamin

A popular folk remedy I am told - sesamin is the active ingredient in sesame seeds and oil which can apparantly reduce fat storage in the body. It does this by stimulating the production of enzymes which oxidise triglycerides ie fats are more likely to be used than stored.

Unfortunatly there is very little sesamin in seasame oil so you have to buy suppliments from stores.

However, I can't find any records of controlled trials using this ingredient. So I was wondering, is anyone using it and with any success?
