Yes. You can.
Hump day!!! :D :D

Hi everyone - happy wednesday!

I have just had a review of my bills this morning, and can I just say:

Right. The shopping stops NOW. (Hopefully!) lol

I think I need to get a temporary part time night job to pay my debts down! Aside from pubs and corner shops - any ideas about where one can look for an evening job?? I really think I am going to have to do this as I have been a very very naughty girl.

Well everyone, have a good day. And good luck to the Wednesday Weighers. :)

Hi BL,

I am starting to feel the pinch too and its not fun. Me being really frustrated with this diet at the moment is not helping.

Funnily the more frustrated I become the more determined I am to get to my goal.

Oh well happy Wednesday everyone.

Morning BL and all you other losers
I've been thinking the same about extra work my bills seem to be ganging up on me as well the only place that I could see for a few extra hours were fast food joints pubs & street corners!!!! lol. Oh yes & if I stop shopping that might help
Hope you all have a good day & enjoy the sun if you can

Hi girls. <sigh> Money worries - who needs 'em, ay? But a bit of good news on that front, I just won an incentive at work and will get a £150 bonus next month....so that will help. But it's THIS month I am worried about!! :D

Found out I could probably easiy get a job at a Local Shop - like a little market...I forget what its called, but I think it IS called The Local?? A mate at work is going to ask for me tonight. I jst hate the idea of needing a second job. Crap....I'm gonna be 50 in 2 years - I wanted to start working less now, not more!!!

I will be glad when the diet ends for money reasons too, as even though we are not buying the same amount of groceries - it does get up there, £66 a week. Worth every single penny, but will be a relief whn the costs of that drop too.

Hey ho.

:( Why can't we just be those who never have to think about money. What must that be like!!?? Would love to know!

Have a good day gals.

There are definate cons attached to being able to walk into next and pick of 12's and 14's and just know they are going to fit. I promised myself I would not spend money this month and hey how the Next sale just called out to me. and then of course the flash jeans for £50 eeeeeeek.

On a serious note, I am strongly considering going into RTM, the finances are not a joke anymore and I am frustrated with the diet, maybe do a long version of it ie stay on week 1 for two weeks and two weeks on week two....mmm comments would be appriciated. My head is all over the place at the moment, the only certainty is that I am short of cash, so its jump ship and go to Cambridge or start RTM now HELP!!!!!

Going into RTM costs me more money. Healthy food is not cheap!!

Because there are two of us doing the diet, our costs have gone from £132 a week, to £66 for the LL (for both of us) and at least £100 on food shopping! Hubby has found a really good market that sells fruit and veg which is gorgeous and well priced, so we get most of our fresh produce from there.

I'm thinking as the weeks go on it might get cheaper, because pasta and rice are more economical so looking forward to using that :D.

Hi TG,
I suppose there is that but I know in the first few weeks I can shop really cheaply. I am just so unsure at the moment and it seems like a very heavy weight sitting on my shoulders. Too much uncertainty in my life at the moment and I am not liking it one bit.

Well Tange - its a big decision you face.

Personally, if it were me, I would opt for sticking it out until you reach a weight you want to be at the start of RTM, OR, I would opt for RTM rather then switching diets. But thats just me - I like to keep things tidy. :D

You may well lose some more in RTM, and you don't have far to go. It's a big decision, and yuo just need to have a good think, and imagine all your options and just feel which one feels right.

Listen to your heart, your head, but most importantly - listen to your gut. Thats the one that is usually right. (Except when it speaks of hunger!! lol)

I really really want to finish what I have started, so do not want to go to RTM until I am no more then a stone above goal. And hopefully further along. I am feeling more positive then I was 2 weeks ago, but gods truth - the weekly loss, three on a trot, of just ounces is reallllllly testing my resolve.

But it's been a good fight, and I am not going to surrender. I just want the opponent to play fair and go back to a couple pounds a week!! LOL

Hang in there hon. I know its tough times now. I had a feeling the end of the diet would be harder then the beginning. And we are approaching that now. You much further ahead then me, but still, we are both getting close.

You're not in that boat alone! :)

BL and TG

Thanks both for your input. I do not want to give up either but its pointless taking myself back into debt for it, I really am never going to fight that fight again.
Its not an easy decision for me its really not, more than anything I want to achieve my goal, but I also know that I can do it if I go into RTM and maybe do a drawn out version of RTM. anything to not go down the road of credit cards again.

Don't get yourself into debt with it!

You've always got the option of going back into abstinence if you finish RTM and want to lose the rest a bit quicker, but if you get yourself into debt it's not as easy to put right, especially in the current climate!

If it were me, I'd go into early RTM. But it's not me it's you, so go with whatever feels right to you.

Thanks TG, I have done my little pro's and cons list and there is absolutely no way I am going to go into debt again, I have been there done that and it was not a pleasant experience.

my input?
i spend nearly twice as much now per week that what i did on abstinence.
Granted, I am a little extravagent- but berrys are very expensive!!!
x

fresh veg- stir frys- salads- sauces- yoghurts- berrys- mangos- organic/fresh meat.
I spend around £30 a week on fruit and yoghurts.
then with my gym membership- maintaining certainly isnt cheap- but its worth it!xx

Afternoon all....

I dont know whats been the matter with me for the last few days but I feel SO HUNGRY!!! I dont know where all my resolve went. I honestly think that if I was on my own I would eat something...:break_diet:Ive tried to do a thought record but I really cant find a reason for feeling like this. Ive only been on LL for 3 months and some of you have been doing it for much longer :( Any ideas??

Unfortunately Twinny, those days come and go throughout....but seem less frequent then they could be which is a good thing.

It's tough when you start feeling hunger - I just grab a bottle of water and slug back several big gulps and hope it passes, which it ususally does.

Just try and distract yourself as best as possible, hang tough - don't lapse as you will feel worse then you feel when you feel hunger! And it will go away!!

Keep up the good work - you are doing great!!!

Hey everyone - what a fanastic day I had at work today - did my first interview under caution - she confessed to fraud so was really happy about that, my first interview and I get a result. Then later in the day got a phone call from a woman I sent a letter too last week asking for some info as I had received a referal that she may be committing benefit fraud - anyways, long story short, she phoned me this afternoon to tell me that she had had a mild heart attack this morning, which she felt was as a result of my letter. She was released this afternoon, and is coming to see me tomorrow, which has shocked me as thought if you had a heart attack you'd be in hospital undergoing tests for days.

Anyways, is it right that someone who spends all day looking for evidence to prosecute someone should really love their job - because I tell ya - I do!!

Hello Blonde Logic,

You could try motels and hotels, they hire night staff. Also, lots of businesses have evening cleaning staff. Larger shops like Tescos are opened 24 hours, too.
