tanning legs?

Hi i know this is off topic but im really hoping someone can help me out!

I havent wore a skirt in a few years - and when I did wear skirts my legs were naturally tanned...

So I got this wedding on saturday and I am going to be wearing a dress and as I am rather proud of my new legs I need to get them in pristine condition as they havent seen the light of day in ages (i havent sunbathed in 3 years).

OK, so I have a couple of times put fake tan on my legs but it always looks horrible and goes into the pores of my legs and i get a dotty efffect - tried exfoliating, tried shaving after, tried shaving a couple of days before...

I got a body wrap yesterday and my legs feel really smooth - so im hoping this will help but does anyone know what i should do this week to have tanned legs on saturday??? Like when should i shave and what should i do each day???

sorry if i seem really dumb about this but can advice muchos appreciated - i waited so long to look good in a flipping dress - i dont want to have white pasty legs or a disaster fake tan to ruin it! lol

I always use the spray tans, either done at the salon or at home. I usually imac (sorry it's veet now) becos i'm too sensitive to shave & i do this the day before. Then that night i do the spray tan & shower it off in the morning. They are really good & natural looking, no streaks. It looks scarily dark at 1st as it gets increasingly darker but as soon as you shower it off it leaves a really nice tan. It also lasts about a week so you could do it a few days before. You can get them anywhere now, boots, superdrug.

Thank u for this i just got a few questions i hope u dont mind me asking...

1. What spray tan would u recommend???

2. If the wedding is on satuday what day should I do the veet - thursday or when???

3. So just to confirm I do the fake tan on the friday night?

The aerosol spray cans are best not the pump spray (they tend to go patchy) Fake Bake is a really good make but expensive aprox £15-£20 on ebay & for tht price you may aswell get it done at a salon. There is one from boots

I've not tried this but have heard it's good, i've seen it on ebay for £1 or somethin silly like tht.
I personally would do it on the thursday night, just incase your not happy with it you've got time to get it off, or if it's too dark. You can always do it again on the friday night if it's not dark enough for you. I would veet on the same day as the spray tan.

ohhh i thought removing hairs and then fake tanning would cause the dreaded spots i dont want... but maybe not if it is not shaved...

I shave...and i use st tropez mousse...fab, fab , fab!! No streaks ...again i would either shave or wednesday and mosturise like a mad woman and then do the tan thursday! also if you so happen to miss bits you can just fill them in friday morning!! Or just go to a salon and let them do it for you on wednesday!!! sure to be perfectio xx

You could always try rubbin a wet teabag on em & hope it doesnt rain

Or there is something called sun shimmer...that washes off and you can see exactly where its going....is fine in light rain ...but when you are in a heaving club the end of the night look isnt great!!! #Looks fab on a summers day tho xx
