Overweight and headaches

Can anyone tell me if they suffer from headaches frequently since they became over weight? I have gained a few stone over the last four years and it coincides with starting severe migraines and when not a migraine a horrible headache. Never suffered from either prior to my big weight gain, I do suffer from high blood pressure but that is controlled with medication and is now well maintained. I feel as if I am not getting enough air into my lungs when I breathe and my head feels tight and stuffy to start and the goes into full blown headache.....anyone else get the same?

Have you been back to the doctors about this? Not getting enough air sounds like asthma or high blood pressure. Do you smoke? Definitely try to lose some weight, it will help with your blood pressure too.

Hi already on tablets for blood pressure and its maintained very well, had tests for asthma I dont have it, they said its due to my weight. I have done some research on the internet and there is a direct link with migraines/headaches and weight gain. The more weight you gain the worse the migraines/headaches. Just more information for me to take when having my referral....
