Is Irrepressible!! : )
......whilst at work. Some chappy from a different shift had put some money into the vending machine to get a bottle of Sprite. Unfortunately for him, the machine had run out of said sugary beverage but would not give him his money back, so with no alternative he decided to get a bottle of Diet Coke even though he didn't like it.
I'm sitting with the team I am managing and over he comes asking if someone would buy the coke off him. Everyone said no. He then asked me if I wanted to buy the drink to which I also replied no. The cheeky bugger then said "Are you sure you don't want it... it looks like you could do with it!"
My mouth dropped open and everyone who heard went silent.... I then started to laugh! He actually didn't realise what he had said and when someone reiterated it to him he said "No I just meant you looked thirsty!"
Shame, he went really red in the face! It's a good job I knew he didn't mean it and that I am very good humoured!!!
