Starting tomorrow

I've decided to give CD a try, I was on Slimming World but the weight just wasn't shifting quick enough.

I've just got of the phone with the Counsellor and she's coming to visit tomorrow with my shakes, From what she said about my weight I'm best on the SS+ 4 shakes/soups a day.

I can't wait now that I've set my mind on it, any advice greatly received

Hey miss B...i'm still fairly new myself the only advice i can really give is stick with through day 1,2 and 3...they are the hardest. Keep yourself hydrated with lots of water to avoid the headaches etc and most importantly keep coming on here for support as i think that plays a major role in keeping on track.
Best of luck and we're all here should you need anything.xx

ive only been on it a week ...first weight in tomorrow...i was really apprehensive about doing this diet coz as well as the good press there has been alot of bad press. i think we all get to the point where we exhaust all other diets and our bodies say enough is enough althou ive lost loads this week. just hope the same happens next week and all the following weeks......
saw on the news today thou that they are blaming a lack of vitamin d (sourced from the sun)for the obesity in the country!!!!! maybe the nhs will issue us all with free sessions on the sun bed !!!!!!!

Hi Miss B,
Welcome to the wonderful world of CD. I've just done my first week on SS and so happy with the weight i lost. I was so suprised at the variety of flavours and how nice the shakes taste.

If u stick to it u will succeed. And if u do feel that u can't carry on at any stage, just go online because everyone will u give u the support u need. Just looking at how much people has lost keeps me going!

Good luck for your first day, and let me know how u get on.

Thanks again everyone, its reading all about everyone elses weight loss that encouraged me to try. Some people have lost so much.

I'm starting to feel a bit hungry now, but that could be because i've just prepared my boys' teas.

miss b .....i now swear by this diet!!!!!! had official weigh in today and have lost 11lb and 8 inches from all over.....size 0 here i come!!!!!!!

Its not easy cooking food, when your hungry and u know u can't eat, it was quite hard the first few days cooking for my partner, and got him to eat in the other room, bless him, coz i just couldn't stand to watch him eat. But now i don't have that problem at all, i don't feel hungry and i actually enjoy cooking for him. Have been tempted to nibble, but have RESISTED THE TEMPTATION because it just isn't worth it.

good luck hon. there are so many people on here that have done so well, it really spurs us all one :D

glug loads of water. i try and glug four litres a day, water is the big secret really, and bash through the first week. it's the most horrid but after that things really pick up :) plus, after you see the first week's loss you never want to go back :)

abz xx

I had an NHS suntan in my teens!! Had severe psoriasis and had intensive UV treatment in hospital to get rid of it, looked like I'd been for 3 weeks in the Carribean :p

As the others have said, stick with it, ignore your head, follow your dream and you'll do just fine xxx
