I am 27 female 9 yr old and an 18 mnth old!

had a cyst removed from my ovary when i miscarried 10 years ago, had a baby, had to have colposcopy due to neg smear and a labroscopy to remove the cells, all was well then was diagnosed with pcos before i got preggers with my last daughter.. periods always been all over the place

had my baby lost weight, pcos not bad after last scan early last year!

went to see new gyni this week due to pain during orgasm, and he said i might have abrasions from my operation 10 years ago! (only been getting this kind of pain since giving birth 2006 which i had to have a d&c for retained placenta!) they will need to open me up under general to have a look

(i got 6 weeks to decide)

anyway periods every month up untill i had the implant in august last yr, every few weeks!!

just as i thought getting back to normal over the last 3 mnths first week of the mnth, i finished few days ago! and now its come back again ?

i dont mind its just i am worried that perhaps theres something not right again in there? and i dont want to go sleep to find out, i terrified

anyone have simular experiences?

Hun are u still on the implant?? I have a lot of problems with that department and ive had loads of D & C's at the age of 24. I know when i have the implant i didnt stop bleeding as my body didnt like it so i changed to the pill and things are good now.

yes festival! due to have it out when i have gotton to goal to try for another baby! (i know i know) so probably november/december time!

just worried it might be something more serious! i have had so much going on down there in my lifetime! lol ..

was you like this with the inplant too? perhaps i should move on to the pill, but the negatives of it frightens me .... hmm decisions decisions.. and i cancelled my docs appointment today to ask his opinion cus i feel stupid!

but the pain i been getting during that time (ya know?) has only been there since having my baby and d&c in 2006 not before, so dont understand why new gyni reckons its from when i had my op 10 years ago!

cant a simple scan see if there are any scars there? i dont want to go sleep for it ...

I know its scary hun but sometimes you just have to go with the docs. I have had no problems with the pill no weight gain when i started no mood swings its the only thing that has regulated my periods xx

my old gyni wanted me to try dianette! (sp) but the side affects scared the hell out of me lol..

i think i will have a chat with oh cus he seems to talk me round to a decision! lol

I don't have PCOS but do suffer with Endmetriosis. Also had a colposcopy in 1997. I've have 5 laparoscopies, some with laser or loop diathermy. Was told no more as of the amount of scaring/adhesions. If it helps any, I took Dianette for several years and didn't have any problems with it. In fact, it was recommended by my specialist. Haven't had any major problems since having my son 5 and a half years ago so fingers crossed it stays that way.
Good luck :)

think i am going to have this inplant taken out, i am in agony today :(

my legs are aching badly and i am so heavy (only finished friday :( ) urghhhh!! and to top this all off i have only lost a pound this week grrrrrrrrrrrr

ok no matter, sticking to it so i am ok... yes i could raid the choclate but i am not! just ticking to my sweet packs as of today! even if i have to have a 4th it will only be for today!

god my legs like i been battered!

you poor thing!! i really think you may have to go with the docs on this one hon. once you find out what is wrong you can take the right thing to make it right. guessing on changing medication probably isn't the best way forwards... i have the implant and didn't have periods for years until starting cd and this is my third one in a month (bit peeved).

as for the fact you've only lost a lb you know it's water retention so breathe deep and accept the fact it will drop off soon.

i hope you feel a bit better soon hon.

abz xx

I just wanted to say that I really feel for you....you poor thing....sounds like you've really been through the mill !

I think you need to trust the Dr's & get things checked out though....know it's scary, but you're better off finding out what's going on.

I really hope you'll feel better soon hun....take care.

Well done for sticking with the diet through all this too !!!
