Help! - Starting to crave food...

I don't know what's got into me but the last 48 hours I am feeling like eating. I'm into week 7 now and have stuck to LT religiously. Is anyone else getting cravings? I'd really like to get to my goal of 10 stone which I think will take another month but I just don't think I can last that long - any advice please???

Yes you CAN last that long. It's not real hunger, it's all in your head so busy yourself until it's time for your next shake or bed, woman!

Seriously, if you really really want to reach your goal then it's only you that you have to answer to in the end. What do you want more - to be 10st or to have a meal now that won't be that great anyway? xx

I know it's down to me - I think I'm starting to get bored of the shakes and it's made worse when family/friends start talking about food and takeaways! I think an early night is called for...

nice and easy this one, just stick at what your doing it really is that easy xxx

thanks, I just needed a bit more moral support x

Can you alter you 'shake' routine at all i.e not having same flavours, same time etc - buy yourself some funky containers for each flavours with silly straws, sounds silly but you never know

I've resorted to getting 3 peanut flapjacks for a change, 3 soups and rest are choc and strawberry. Like the idea of containers - just had one of those really cr@ppy fed up days and normally I would turn to food for comfort...so am at a bit of a loss!

i made my choc shake to a mouse earlier, and it was far more satisfying, try mixing up the shakes/soup different and add some fibre clear to it, drink loads and loads of water so there is no room for food and you are too busy pee'ing to think about it anyway ;)

lol! yes I think the old water trick is needed...dashing off now to refill - how much water do you need for the mousse?

The LT bag says 2 fluid ounces but people say it's too thick and generally they seem to add a fair bit more than that. Trial and error I'd say hun :)

guys first post on this just joined and just started lipotrim last monday and trying to keep busy on a sat nite i too am really craving. had to diet due to getting publicly embarressed when a trolly dolly shouted "youll have to move from that seat its next to an emg exit and your too fat to block it" thanks to her im on a mission but keep looking in the fridge....only looking thou thats why i surfed and found this cool place

Hi there and welcome to the forum :)

That was a horrible experience but at least it put you on the right track to a better, healthier future.

When you feel the need to eat come on here instead or drink water. Lots and lots of water.

I find weekends very hard too so if you can plan things to keep you busy it helps. Sitting at home on my own last Saturday was my downfall so if you think you would be the same I suggest keeping yourself in the company of others.

Good luck :)

thanks it seems to be working as theres loads of people on here the talk with and if you parden my language im yet to come accross an a88hole like on so many other forums everyones been great

think of how far you have come don't ruin all your hard work. imagine in 3-4wks you will be down another stone. early night for you if you can't cope

Everyone here is fantastic. Seriously I've yet to come across someone on this forum who isn't lovely. :) Good to have you onboard :)

hi redfluff,

i use a little under the 2 ounces of water suggested, add a fibresure sachet, and mix slowly but thoughly. start with less water and add more as you go till it loops gloopy, lovely gloopy!

i didn't like the strawb one much but the choc one with 1/2 spoon coffee is yummy.

good luck xx

Strawberry is not meant for mousse-making :)

thats where i went wrong! :D

Good luck redfluff, hope you got through it.

Rugen, this forum has helped so many of us keep to the straight and narrow and has offered advice and support when needed. Good luck.

x
