Hi everyone!

Well I was in Ethiopia meeting my future daughter! She is gorgeous! Soooo tiny! All the clothes that I had bought her were just way too big so I have had to go shopping for a whole new wardrobe! If you think clothes look cute in 3-6 months you should see them in 0-3 months!!!! I had a ball! I have to travel back again in 2 weeks for a court date and to collect her! Can't Wait!!!

I had to travel out there half way through my refeed week and it all went a bit pear shaped! I couldn't eat any salad as you are advised not to for food poision reasons. I couldn't eat the meat or fish as it was awful. So I ended up eating fat and stodge!!! Toasted cheese sandwhiches, pizza, vegetable lasagne, chips, bread!!!!:cry:I know I couldn't have done any worse! So I was dreading weighing in and finally did today and actually was relieved that I had only put up 5lbs!!!! It really could have been worse.

Anyway when I go back in 2 weeks I have found a self catering guest house to stay in and will cook for myself so I should be a lot better.

So what to do now???? No point starting TFR for 2 weeks and it would be VERY hard to do over there. So should I just do low fat for the next 2 weeks and while away and then start TFR in august? Or should I do maintenance and try and do it while away also and then TFR in Aug????

I soooo want to get the rest of this weight off!!!!

dont worry about it, just enjoy your time getting to know your baby and start when you can give 100%.
i think you have to be in the right frame of mind.
when your ready youll do it
hope to see photos of bab soon. :D

yeah leave it for now and when your family is settled and in a nice routine you can restart. Plus all the mummy stuff will burn some calories for you.Just make wise food choices and all will be well.

Ah Sarah so good to hear from u. U must be on cloud nine with all thats going on in ur life at the moment. When do u bring her home, whats her name, is she the most georgous girl in the world. U are so so lucky.
Just be careful and eat healthy 4 now. U've plenty time for LT in the coming months. U must be exausted with all the travelling and stress.
I wish u congratulations and wish u well. Keep us posted

I hope to have her home by 1st Aug if all goes well with the court date!! Yes! She is the MOST gorgeous baby in the world (but I;m biased!). I actually can't post her name or any identifying info about her until she is mine! Child protection which is fair enough! But it is a lovely name and suits her!

Woh thats only 3 and a bit weeks away.U won't feel that flying in. It gives u a bit of time to prepare for ur daughters arrival. Don't buy to much cause u'll get loads of gifts. Just running out of the nappies and wips i got for baby through my pregnancy now. It only lasted the 5 months. Need to stock up again. Sur its never ending but worth every min.

oh no, i'm broody now!! i'm not losing all this weight to get broody!! lol

I bet she is gorgeous hun. I hope everything goes well for you!

Personally I would just stick to a low fat diet, I'd be far too excited to be worrying about food for the next two weeks!! xx

HI Sara
Welcome back and congrats on your new baby, you must be thrilled. Regarding your weightloss I would put it on the back burner for a few wks til you know you can commit fully to it. In the meantime you could try the maintenance but Ive been doing it the last few wks and havent been getting far at all, so why not stick to a low gl type diet, you dont want to be starving yourself, you will need all your energy to care for your new baby. Best of luck to you chick, keep in touch

Sara, good luck bringing your little angel home soon.

If i were you I'd stick to low fat, low carb meals for now and just concentrate on enjoying preparing for her arrival.

x

Thanks girls. Well it seems to be unanimous!(sp) Low fat / low carb/ low gi for the next few weeks!!!
