i usally stick to veg and currys mainly but japatis are just carbs
protein is a stuggle thats why im probably over weight to much carbs in my diet

I make veggie curries with chickpeas. How about adding Raita as a side dish. I make mine with low fat natural yog, cucumber, red onion, mint, a little cumin and salt & pepper to taste if required (I just add the pepper). It's delicious and cooling with curry. Serve with brown rice.

I chop and toss red onion and vegetables in a desertspoon of olive oil, add a tin of tomatoes and a handful of wallnuts or cashews and some basil, oregano and marjoram. When nearly cooked boil pasta.

Jacket potatos (no butter or spread) with all kinds of fillings. Try beans, cottage cheese (my favourite), serve with a lovely un-dressed salad

Vegetable chilli made with chopped onion and vegetables tossed in olive oil. Add chilli powder and toss again. Add tin of tomatoes and a tin of red kidney beans. Serve with brown rice. Go steady with chilli as too much can ruin the meal. Extras can be frozen for later. Added bonus with this one is that I have heard chilli can speed up the metabolism by 50%.

Hope this is helpful x
