Quite a nice Sunday morning here....

I'm going to pop to the shops and hopefully be back in time to watch the Grand Prix.

How about everyone else?

was going to remove the fences and do the garden but its peeing it down here on the East Coast so im going to put all the picture from my computer onto CD as we are giving my computer to my partners mum for her birthday as its only a year old and she hasnt got one/

have fun shopping

Not a lot. Hubby is full of cold and it is peeing down outside so I am fighting the munchies :eatdrink023:
Baby is asleep at the moment but might take him and the dog up to the hills for a run later.
Lx

Its chucking it down here too, have just been to the garden centre with blokey (much to his annoyance) now am settling down to level some writing books - oh what joy, roll on summer hols xxx

Hi, I’m due to have a hysterectomy on Tuesday so I wanted to do things that I may not be able to do for a while like gardening, cycling, walking in the country etc this weekend.
The weather has stopped most of that so will probably go to the shops today to stock up on magazines and books. I would go to the library but I owe £4.95 for over due books so daren’t – I have returned the books!!
Started card making and scrap booking so will no doubt get some more bits.
We are all off for a curry (can I mention high fat, high calorie, high carbed food?) later at the Blue Elephant in Euxton as a celebratory good bye to my internal lady bits.

Have fun everyone whatever you do.

Hope all goes well for you on Tue Aislinn - had to chuckle about your mention of saying goodbye to your internal lady bits xxxx

Lol! Thanks Rainbow
I think they are all relieved that I am not insisting that we fry it up and share it once they have been removed!!

Lol - that would be a dinner party with a difference!!!!!!!!!! xxx

I've just been to the gym and now I'm enjoying soup and sesame seed ryveta.

Hey Aislinn - I'm a Preston bred lass and now live in Padiham. Never been to the Blue Elephant - is it really nice?

We love the Agra in Burnley for a treat - oh it is so yum :D

Hi Slimmerkay, the Blue elephant is delish!! We tend to go on the curry mile at Rusholme, but for special occasions we go to the Blue Elephant.

Must give Agra a try now that we have had a recommendation – didn’t know anyone who had been before.

Rainbow, some of my friends would eat anything with a bit of garlic and plum tomatoes thrown in - Lol!!

Hi - drizzly and grey here in Bucks! Been to the gym this morning, was supposed to be running outside but the rain put a stop to that - did a body pump class instead which was a big shock to the system on a Sunday morning. Also popped to the garden centre and brought cabbages to plant in the garden (well husband planted them really). I have cooked lentil Dahl for tea but had to have some for lunch as well as it smelt so good. Also got tomorrows tea sorted out as well, quorn mince in passata with leeks, onions and herbs topped with mashed butternut squash....

not doing much today. just sat at home on the laptop while my fella is playing rock band on his xbox 360! we were going to do something but as the weather is a bit crap and we're feeling lazy, so we can't think of anything to do. i think cabin fever may set in soon!

when we first started going out me and my boyfriend used to go to manchester for 3 or 4 day breaks when travel lodge used to do £10 rooms. the curry mile looks great all lit up at night - have always wanted to eat there, but never got round to it.

Oh body pump classes………..I’m missing them already. I’m a bit of a gym junkie – I just love spin classes too. I’ve had to suspend my membership for two whole months.
So can’t wait to get this over and done with………………...
All that talk of veg and gardening did make me take a wistful look out of the window and pine slightly. It’s not made me put my coat and wellies on though – with another brew and I’m sure all thoughts of gardening will pass Lol!!

It can be a bit hit and miss but some of the restaurants are great. Really cheap and yummy. We also stick to the ones that don’t serve alcohol particularly late on (I’m not teetotal or anything it’s just to avoid the lager louts) and choose the ones that the Asian folk are eating in – we just reckon that they must know a good curry house!
If you are ever up here again give one a try.

I haven't eaten in Rusholme for years, but agree entirely with you.....:p

I went to Uni in Manchester and we used to love a good curry in Rusholme, but havent been for a couple of years since graduating. Hmmm yummy - cant remember the name of our fav, but it was purple! xxx

I've had a bit of a mad day..... I HATE cleaning, but find that once I start I don't stop until the whole house is done.

I've moved my fish from the living room into the spare bedroom (they clashed with my colour scheme in living room), took ages to clean it all then lug it upstairs.

Boyfriend didn't get to bed until 6am this morning so I'm avoiding him at all costs, other than that I'm going to make SW wedges and chill out, then bath and bed.
