Thursday Hour X Hour

Morning Losers!!

I was such a good girl this morning I walked from Vauxhall to Liverpool Street about an hour and 15 mins.

I had weigh in last night and only lost 1lb:confused:. Actually I am not too phased I know the cm's are coming off maybe I was just retaining water or something. I am positive next week will be a big one.

Our LLC told a few of us last night to start thinking of RTM, thought I would mention it as some of the LLc's seem to be trying to keep people on longer. Was a great session and I am now sitting here trying to remember the reason why I started in the first place. I am going to make a list today and relook and re focus. 4 more weigh ins before I finish with some luck. The moment I hit the 10's thats me.
I am excited all over again, another chapter in the story is about to begin.

Happy Thursday all.

Morning all
A lbs good tange it's a loss you are so close to RTM I bet you are counting the days & lbs
Pleased your feeling in a better mood today dancing you are also very close to your goal keep with it
Good luck to all who have wi's today

Glad you are feeling better Dancing. Sleep is a wonder cure for so many things isn't it.

RC, when is your weigh in? I am keeping fingers crossed that you have a good one.

It is so dead boring here at work that its scarey.

It's tonight Tange I've got all crossed to lose the 3lbs

I am sure you will have with some luck a pound or two extra.

I hate not having work to do the days just drag by.

Hi everyone! Sounds like a good walk to work today Tange. Well done you! And yah, a pound down, is a pound gone! You're getting so close to target now, there may not be much more ofyou to lose!! :D

Didn't know you were feeling poorly Dancing - must have missed that. Glad you are a bit brighter today. Roll on weigh in, ay? Get yourself a good dose of motivation!!

Anyone heard from Katie? Hope she is still getting in the groove after her great first weigh in!

Good luck tonight RC! :)

I ended up with the dayoff today! WOohoo! My boss made me go see my doc this morning since the bike incident happened at work, just to be sure all was OK, seeing as I just had surgery on my knees last winter, and there was a bit nartsy bruise and goose egg (lump) developing where the incision is. And its just that - a big narsty bruise. But as I was only working a half day today, I would only have gone in for one hour so she said stay home. And I am off tomorrow to celebrate, quitely of course, the 4th of July! :D
However, I won;t be doing it with the usual BBQ hot dogs, burgers, potato salad and apple pie!!! :D

On the way home I was magnetically pulled in to the charity shop and forced at imaginary gunpoint to buy 5 or 6 more tops. :D And a great great dress. I will probably only get to wear the dress once or twice before its too big, or maybe never if the weather does not improve, but it was SO me, I had to have it. I'm a sick woman. :D

Now, not sure what to do with the day. Housework? Or a movie?? Hmmmm.......time will tell!

Have a great day everyone!

Nice one BL. Nothing like some retail therapy.

I am still sitting here twiddling my thumbs, maybe I will tiday my drawers and dust my desk.

Roll on weekend.

Hi all,
My WI tonight - it looks like I have lost a couple of pounds despite my weekend of failure! I am still kicking myself as I reckon I would have be sitting pretty for a 6-7 lb loss if I hadn't munched!

Would be nice if I could get my BMI in the 26's.

God luck to all of you!

Enjoy the day tomorrow BL - I'm going to be cleaning the BBQ shortly ready for tomorrow, and will have to dig out my Stars and Stripes from the garage, and decide where to hang it. It's days like tomorrow that make me wish I was back home in NYC.

Hi Mikey,

That cheat is over now in the past you can't change it let it go. (I can't believe I just said that me who looks back so often)
Whatever happens on the scale tonight just look forward your goal is so close.

Corey you have been quiet good to have you back.

Hi everyone,

Well for me today is nearly over and I am successfully managing not to eat after my dinner, only managed 1/3cup of yoghurt!

I am chuffed and i've had a much better week than last and hoping tomorrow when I measure that I loose the extra cm's from last weeks terrible eating and some. Fingers and toes crossed for a 79 cm on the ticker or less.....

Thanks BL, you are absolutely right. I am now beginning to realise that I am close to the end of this journey. I really want to hit the target I set myself of having a BMI of 25 or below before starting the next journey - RTM.

I think that I will miss that by a week or so, and am therefore thinking of delaying starting RTM by a week. I am then hopeful of dropping my BMI to around 22-23 whilst on RTM.

What do you think?

Corey, are you originally from NYC - were you born there?

Yeh totally serious!

I'm doing a program called Cohen's, google it and check it out. It's based on your blood tests and very restrictive if you want the best results etc. But you know, I did it last year and then got sick and had to go on steroids and in 3 days came 3 kilos so I stopped the meds and in another week came 3 more and before I knew it 8 kilos over I lost about 3/4 of these before my holiday in March and then gained a couple basically I think about 5 weeks ago I was 7 kilos over and I reckon I've lost about 2.5 due to me fluffing around. IT'S ONLY 15 CM'S that I need to rid my waist of and hoping for 79 cm tomorrow as my goal is 70/72 cm's. My 30th in 3 weeks and would like my waist to be around the 75cm mark. This should make me about 68/69 kilos and ideally would settle for 65/66 ultimately it would amazing to get to 63 but I know I can manage 65/66 very well.

Sorry for the essay

Corey you have been quiet good to have you back.

Thanks Tange, I have been around, but just not had much to say. I know, unbelievable I know, me.....nothing to say..... but it does happen occasionally (Very occasionally!!)

Corey, are you originally from NYC - were you born there?

Nope, Essex boy born and bred, but lived there for quiet some time, accent changed etc (if you listen when I speak some words still have a twang and still use a lot of americanisms). To me NYC is home and I miss it terribly. I'd go back tomorrow but too many painfull memories for OH (a 9/11 survivor, which is why we returned, otherwise would definately still be there)

I am sure you do not call a dog a dawg though.;)

I am envious Corey NYC is the one city I would love to live in. Not sure why as I have never been there.

Ive never been to NYC either - had plenty of friends that have, and used to know a bunch on New Yorkers when I was working for US software companies (for 15 years of so). I always found that New Yorkers had a very similar sense of humour to us Brits and at Company do's we all seemed to hang around together. Don't get me wrong, I never had a problem with any areas of the states, it is just that there seemed to be a closer link with people from NY.

I am sorry to hear that your OH was involved in 9/11 - it must have been very difficult for you both.

Maybe see you later Corey.

I love New York. We went there for the Millennium celebrations - I'd only ever been to the west coast before, staying with friends in San Jose. I felt more attuned with the New Yorkers, fab fab city.

Nope - don't call a dog a dawg, but my pa likes me to call her my sister though! Well he said he married a *****, so the dawg must be ma sister!
