Any other Starbucks (or similar) addicts?!?

Aaaargh I LOVE LOVE LOVE a Starbucks Cappuccino, in fact I may actually be addicted BUT a skinny venti cappucinno (my normal) is 5 syns AAARGH!!!!

Does anyone else have a secret addiction like this?!

I love starbucks too, but I've managed to switch to an americano with hazlenut syrup. Syrup is sugary, but I don't have sugar, and it tastes gorgeous!! x

I love coffee too and have been known to be addicted to the Coffee Republic mocha freezer with an extra shot of espresso....Lord knows how many syns!!!

I've now mainly switched to Starbucks tall iced sugar free vanilla latte. It's semi-skimmed milk which is an A allowance and otherwise syn-free and yummy! (I just want a bigger one!)

oh that's a good point staceyuk, i'm sure i could use some of the hex a allowance for the skimmed milk, after all my cappucinno is only coffee and skimmed milk - good point!

Just so you know, this is the breakdown of cup sizes for Starbucks:

Tall:254ml
Grande: 473ml
Venti: 591ml

So theoretically you could have one venti a day for 2 HEX A choices (syn free) OR a tall and a grande throughout the day which just puts you slightly over your HEX allowance.

Or of course have your 1 venti a day as a HEX and count the leftover 240ml of milk as syns.

PS - I'm pretty sure my consultant said a venti skinny capp was 10 syns?

My sw leader said that my tall skinny sugar free vanilla latte is 1 HE A. I have it every day during the week on my way to work or I can't make it through the day! LOL

Louise have you tried the sugar free hazelnut?

Oh YAY WOOPWOOOP you have made my day, my downfall is Starbucks Cappucinnos, I consider them to be a real treat.. so will either use as both hex a choices (therefore syn free) or 5 syns (just double checked and it's definitely 5 syns if they use skimmed milk - it's 10 if they use whole milk x)

i don't get it! lol

i don't drink tea or coffee - but i do love coffee flavoured things, such as tia maria and tiramasu! lol

As a Costa employee who travels the country ensuring it is the best brand can I ask for less of the S(tarbucks) word!!!!
Only kidding of course but I do think we have the better coffee!!

MIKE! Blimey long time no speak (you used to coach me on the CD forums lonnnng ago) hope you are ok?

Mmmm don't mention the S word at the moment, can't *really* afford it right now but it's funny how I can somehow scrape a few quid out of my purse for a Starbucks lol!

UH-OH we have Costa/Starbucks conflict haha only joking.. sorry tenbars but there's no comparison *winks* hehe!
