How does LT affect cellulite?

Dumpy2Petite

Lovin' those ketones!!
Hi guys!

I haven't started LT yet (am starting in the middle of July, cos I've got stuff at work to do then I'm taking a bit of leave for those crappy first days!) and I want to lose about 4 1/2 stone. The most I've ever been able to lose before is just under a stone before plateauing  - so I'm v excited about LT! :D

Anyway I was wondering what effect losing loads of weight on LT has on cellulite, if any? Seeing as it's all artificial, and artificial stuff is supposed to be bad for toxins, and toxins are one of the things blamed for cellulite. Losing fat also doesn't mean you lose cellulite does it.

Also I'm a bit scared of getting saggy skin - I saw a programme the other day where a girl had lost loads of weight, but was now more self-conscious about her body than she was before because of saggy skin! Eeek! Would bio oil help? Or does drinking lots of water help that anyway?

I'd appreciate any advice from you lovely peeps who have lost loads. Well done btw!! :happy096:

Of course, you bloody men wouldn't know about cellulite would you! Sods! :D

Hi there :) Unfortunately I'm a bit rubbish and don't actually have an answer to your question but I just wanted to say hi :) (In a friendly mood today lol) Also was interested to see you're from Plymouth - it seems there's a fair few of us on here :D I hope someone clever comes along and answers your questions hun :D

Thx Gem! x :D

ok cellulite is FAT that pushes against the connective tissue beneath the skin and causes dimpling. The only way to reduce cellulite is to reduce surface body fat and thats by restricting ur intake or FAT!!! You can go to the beauty salon and get treatments that say they reduce cellulite - this in fact is a falacy - what those products do is puff up the skin surrounding the connective tissue therefore making it look like u dont have cellulite - but as they are not permanent treatments the results do not last. Liposuction does not reduce cellulite either - as liposuction is aimed at the deep body fat not the surface stuff which causes the dimpling - so sorry but u just have to lose weight and it will reduce - u may be lucky and have none when u get to goal - but that doesnt happen often as we need some surface fat for insulation :D

Lipotrim is made from skimmed milk and lots and lots of ur daily nutritional needs to sustain a healthy body whilst losing weight. I doubt it would exacerbate cellulite in anyway - as the fat it contains is minimal if evident at all.

thats my opinion anyways - i am sure others may have differing opinions!!

good luck with ur LT journey :D

God im thick....I thought fallacy was something to do with mens genitals lmao!!!!!!!

hmmmm isnt that falatio?? :rotflmao: maybe a falacy to some ;)

LMAO Chunky! :rotflmao:

Thx Lisa! I hope losing the fat does help reduce the look of the cellulite a bit, but even if not, at least I won't feel like a heffalump any more! To me at the moment, having never lost as much as I need to before, even getting the 4 stone off at the moment seems too good to be true!

Wanna start LT NOW!!! :gimi:

:rotflmao: It certainly seems to be the case!

Ooh, speaking of us Plymouth lot, anyone seen Mellum? Haven't seen any posts from her in a few, hope she's okay...
