Potato Wedges

i just par boil some wedged shaped potatoes, sprinkle on some herbs and spray with fry light then stick them in the oven til they look about done.yum

I think everyone makes them differently...

* Put potatoes in microwave, whole
* Cook for about 10 mins
* Preheat oven
* Take pots out of microwave and slice into wedges
* Tip onto baking try and spray with frylight
* Cook until brown and crispy

I prefer the microwave method as it's less fuss and washing up, also, the wedges are crunchier (in my opinion).

Let us know how you get on x

- put oven on HOT!
- cut potatoes into wedges
- put in plastic container and microwave for 3 mins
- shake and microwave for a further 2 minutes
- spray pizza tray with frylight
- spray potatoes with frylight, add any herbs/spices (fajita spice is nice and tasty), mix around in bowl to coat wedges
- tip onto pizza tray and bake in oven. usually take about 10 minutes as wedges are virtually done when you put them in, so just need browning on outside.

I do mine a much simpler way. I tried microwaving them but found they didn't cook any quicker. I just cut them into wedges, spray a tray with frylight put the wedges in, season (I use garlic salt but you can use anything) then spray the top with frylight and wait til they're cooked

Whichever way you try they are delicious!!! I microwave like a baked potato but dont cook as long, then chop up and add seasoning and frylight ;)

Thanks girls, have microwaved them and now cooking them in the oven :D

I wonder if they will taste as nice as the kids wedges from tesco lol

My kids swear by them and pester me til I make these...yet freezer full of smilies and wedges! ;)

I'm having them for tea now - yum..... they really are better than chippy chips!
