How are you finding it? I, like you, was afraid of starting cd because I think i had got dependant on alcohol too. After dad died 2 years ago I had 3-4 lagers nearly every night and consequently put on 3 stone. I got tetchy if i didn't have one and angry with dh when he moaned at me (he doesn't drink at all). I have been ok though which has really surprised me. I hope it's all going ok for you too.
