cardio on an empty stomach

I think that is false information. Imagine your body is like a car. Would you attempt to drive 20 miles with no fuel in it? No because it would just splutter to a stop after a few yards. So why would you attempt to work out on an empty stomach?

Exercise speeds up your metabolism which will help you to burn more fat. If you have fat to burn it will burn it regardless of whether you have eaten an hour ago or a week ago

thanks taz. i see what you mean. i'm focusing on gaining muscle, and u muscles need more protein to repair. i've been taking protein shakes latley. these days i've been taking a shake in the morning about 26g of protein, it also has low carbs and then i would do my workout. i'm thinking this will fuel my muscle and burn more fat

You really need to strike a balance. Carbs are great if you are into exercise as the slow release energy will keep you going longer. A few weeks ago I had a 2 hour kickboxing grading followed by a 2 hour karate grading with a couple of hours in between. I filled up on pasta and bananas and it kept me going throughout the day and I felt on top of the world after it all

wow. thats alot of cardio. the truth is since i've started working out, it been hard for me eating.LOL. i know it sounds funny, but i seldom feel hungry. and after i workout the thought of food make bile rise in my throught. don't get me wrong but i feel great afterwards. and high carb foods like bread and so on sound unappetizing.

oh i have also been taking CLA capsules with my meals not consistantly though. and been drinking alot of water.
