...go and make me some crisps and a nice banana mousse please please???

I appear to be glued to my seat, which is making it difficult to reach the microwave in the kitchen....:character00264:
 
Well - according to the LL crowd you can make crisps!!!

I tried it a few times and while they were by no means Walkers quality - they did the job in a 'crisp emergency'.

You mix the mixture into a paste then spread thin (don't you just love that word?!!) blobs of it on some grease proof paper and then pop in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Check and if still soft, pop in again, check and keep going until they are CRISPY!!!
 
Not greaseproof it sticks (trust me I've made the error!:D) you need baking paper. There is a sticky at the top of this forum with all the recipes fatpossum (love the name by the way, just need to take that fat bit off!;))
 
I have to cook them for a LOT longer than 30 seconds!!! Seriously normally cook them for about 2-2 1/2 minutes!!!
 
Ooooh crisps. I've still got one pack left - off to have tomato crisps. Not had crisps in ages.
 
Oh.My.God - I just made chicken and mushroom crisps for the first time and they are utterly devine!!!! THEY EVEN LOOK LIKE CRISPS!!!!

If only I had batteries in my camera...*sigh*
 
Had no tomato soup - had to make oriental chilli instead. Mine never look like crisps. That's probably because I'm so lazy I only make two huge ones and break them up, lol.
 
Can you make sweet crisps??? as in make them with shakes???
 
I'm sure someone mentioned making banana chips type things but I've never tried them. I make cookies with the non fruity shakes though - if you add some PH they are a bit chewy.

Trust me - taste baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. Dont taste sweet at all - in fact like little round bits of cardboard bleurgh
