We are going on holiday for two weeks during the school holidays. Whilst away we catch loads of mackeral and collect scallops, mussels, clams and razor shells wich we eat. When we go I will be on my AAMW for the first week......I have a few questions:
1. Can I eat mackeral as I know it is an oily fish?
2. On my second week of holiday is it possible to still have the fish for one meal and drop one of my packs as a substitute?

I am on SS at the mo.

Mackeral is an oily fish - so sorry you can't have it on AAM or 810 plan. Any white fish or tuna is ok though.

On 2nd week you can either do AAM week again - or 810. Either way you should have 3cambridge plus either an AAM or 810 meal of protein and veg/salad.

If you are doing SS and AAM mackerel is far too oily. It is higher in cals, fat etc and can make you feel queasy.

The only time you should drop a pack is when on 1000 cals then you would have breakfast, lunch, dinner and 2 packs not just 2 packs and a meal it would not be nutritionally complete.

Why not work towards the 1000 and be on that for the 2 weeks on holiday then return to plan?

Ok thanks to both of you. Really want to stick to SS and not come off on run up to hols so will have to be super strict and just catch some white fish!!!!:)
