Well I tend to use Emla cream now which totally numbs the skin so you dont feel a thing, I think if it is only small though it will be ok, they do really hurt quite a lot but it is over quickly and there is no pain afterwards. I have a friend who has one on her wrist and she didn't think it was anymore painful than anywhere else. Go for it but be warned they are highly addictive, you very rarely just have one. I have seven so far, number eight tonight.

I think they are a great incentive for weight loss, I have a tattoo when I reach a certain goal, when I had lost three stone I got one that runs from my shoulder blade to my hip. Felt too fat to do it before because I had to sit there semi naked but having lost the weight I did feel better

Not long really, just until they heal which is different for everyone, mine tend to heal within a couple of weeks, I would recommend keeping them covered for as long as possible just to stop the fading.

That will look beautiful, i think it will be stunning as a lower back one, unfortunately I already have one there, we will be tattoo twins.

I think that tattoos are painful - but bareable dependent on where you have them.
The worst one i had was on my foot - it is a rambling rose that travels from my big toe accross my toes and up the side of the foot. At the side of the foot brought tears to my eyes, but i'd still have another

It absolutely does depend, you are right, I have two on my spine which I had always been told was the most apinful place but I barely felt them, the one on the inside of my elbow however was absolute agony. I really want one on my foot but my frined just got one there and she doesn't want people copying. That must have hurt like hell. It is funny isn't it that someone mentions it and suddenly you want another.
