Carpe diem
Well, after a two week break where I went mad in Holland and ate all sorts of contraband resulting in a 17lb gain, I'm back on track with my first week back on SS bringing an 11lb loss.
It was easier than I anticipated - easier than my initial start back in March actually. I didn't obssess about food, didn't dream about it and didn't get the consuming, gnawing hunger that I experienced the first time round. Also it was easy to get into the water intake thing whereas I had to build up to it in March.
Last time, I lost exactly the same in my 1st week and then 2lb in my second. It'll be interesting to see if I do the same again.
Just thought I'd post this to encourage anyone who is dreading a restart: it's not as bad as you imagine providing you get your head in the right place. If you look at it from a positive viewpoint then it's really not as difficult as you may be anticipating!
