It is Kitteh, mind you its a buzz that people are starting to see the weight loss on me now :D
Well done on your weight loss so far :)

Hey Kitteh

I was just wondering if you were exercising. I ask this because when you do you release endorphins into your blood and get your body pulsing and motivated. This effects our moods and feelings to positive thoughts, along with your toning and this physically makes you body feel tighter/smaller.

I used to weigh 96 kilos many years ago and started slowly loosing the weight it took about 5/6 years as I would loose 8 and stop for a few months then gain 2kilos and get motivated again and loose 8 and stop for a few months and this cycle continued. I'm now about 6 kilos heavier than my ultimate lightest point of 65 kilos and I'm making my way back there.

Keep posting, lots of water and try a walk before breakfast 30mins and the same before dinner. Also floor exercises are really easy and beneficial, like Yoga, if you dont feel like leaving the house or the weather is crap outside. Hang in there darl, you are going to do this.

i do excercise.. :D.. id go mental if i didnt..
i dont mean that i feel like im having a fat day.. or than im sad about not feeling thinner.. i just think its purely psychological.. if you've been overweight for a longish period of time.. then it must be hard to change the mentality you feel about yourself.. if you get me..
Like.. someone on here was asking if there was anyone the sameish weight to like be a diet buddy.. she was 20st8 or something.. and i thought to myself.. ooh.. well im 3 stone heavier than that.. and then i thought.. oh wait a second.. no im not.. lol..

Yeah it defo takes a while for the oul brain to re-adjust!!! Shopping for the next size down is a step in the right direction for re-training the mind ;);)

Yeh it does take a while for the brain to catch up. I've recently done some therapy session with a hypnotherapist and awesome, she gave me some really good techniques to practise and really change the way my mind thought.

I'm sure you are starting to see your weight loss in the mirror, comments and in your clothes... focus on that feeling and remind yourself why your doing this!

Lots or love

hehe.. yeah.. totally.. shopping for that next size down just feels awesome.. doesnt it? Hehe.. i think ill feel thinner when im shopping for size 18.. you know.. like.. its an "acceptable" size in respects to "normal" shops.. and not just evans.. etc.. lol..

i was just wondering about other peoples experiances.. hehe.. im too nosey for my own good you see.. lol..

Awww I know where you're coming from here. When I lost 30lb at the start of the year (I managed to get down to 18stone) I fitted nicely into a size 22. I still felt like I was a size 26 then, so its quite hard adjusting to it!

I did find once I got it through my head that I wasn't as big, I had a massive rush of confidence and that spurred me on to continue with the exercise.

I have however put on all the weight I lost and then some so I'm back at square 1. Looking forward to feelilng that confidence rush again though!

I know exactly what ya mean... i'm on the cusp of a 20... and even that feels 'normal'.... I get excited at the prospect of being able to shop in the other shops with all the lovely stuff in them... its getting very close :D:D:D

That's the focus girls for the week, NEW, SMALLER CLOTHES!

I love to shop but even though I'm close to being back at my goal the clothes I currently wear I feel uncomfortable in. I kick myself for letting those extra few creep back in. I have nice clothes in the wardrobe staring at me every morning! It's a constant reminder that I failed in some way...

Never mind ; think about the shopping!

And you shall deffo get back there.. and more..!! its interesting.. like.. theres a tight space between my bathroom and my kitchen i used to have to literally squeeze myself through.. it was horrible.. but now i can just walk through it.. still go sideways for it though.. lol.. even though i dont have to..

hey there carolyn.. I know what you mean doll.. you've done faaaab so far.. do you think it could be you looking in the mirror and not seeing anything different because of the way you felt before..? cos that happens to soooo many people.. you will get to the point where you wake up n look in the mirror and go.. "wow.. look at what ive achieved"..
