Anyone not been weighed for several weeks and not cheated?

I will be weighed on thursday this week, but then I won't be able to be weighed for 6 weeks or more.

I really want to stick at this, and keep it up, but am wondering if I will lose motivation when I am not seeing a weight drop.

I am hoping I will lose loads of inches too, so that will help.
Has anyone managed it, or any ideas to stay motivated as I will have no net access either!!

*sobs into her pillow* :p

i usually see my cdc every 2weeks sometimes 3. but i would have my own wi once a week and go by that. why dont you do that hun? and post your loss here each week

yeah i agree with becky, get some really good scales and weigh yourself once a week, if that would help keep you on track? xx

you could go to boots and do a weigh in and keep the print out it gives you
try and stay focused

I unfortunately will be stuck in a hospital room with my baby, he is having a 6 week minimum course of aggressive chemo.
I was going to get webNwalk on my phone, so I could have net access, but decided to get a DS lite instead for night time!!

I suppose I could take some scales with me.

im not sure if they would...but ask the nurses if they have any scales?? im sure they would let you! and they would be accurate x

oh hun sorry to hear that!! Would u not rather wait till ya lil lads out of hospital??? xxxxxxx *big hug*

i have ss'ed on a hospital ward in the past, just make sure you get the shakes in between docs and nurses coming round, only managed 1 one day and felt so ill the following day.
hospital i was in nurses ( who knew us, we spent 7 months with them ) kept me topped up with water through out the day

some of the patient line tv things have internet access on them these days. the tv part should be free with it being in a childrens ward then you just buy phone cards and they will work for the internet too

take lots to read through too, oh and my ds lite saved my mind.
hospitals can be a tedious place at times especially once the children are asleep

good luck, hope your wee man is ok

Here's wishing a speedy recovery for your little man XXXXXX

awwww hope your lil one is ok.... last time i was in... the nurses were happy to weigh me when i asked!

Good luck with him
Love Nas x

GOSH TV systems are different. You have a flat screen with sky. I think I will take a tape measure aswell, that might help if I can see I am losing inches!

I am going to do my shakes with a shaker, so I can do them in my room, and we have a shelf in a fridge for water.

know alot of familys that go to GOSH ( one who goes in with her wee girl tomorrow i think ) everyone speaks very highly of it and of the staff
