hi all just wanted to ask once all the weight has gone how easy is it to maintain.

not eating for so long and then starting again wont it all just pile on again?

even though ive got a long way yet, just thinking is it worth all this

(when can i have bread again)

as you get closer to goal weight you move up through the cd plans slowly getting accustomed to eating more and more healthily. there are a few long term maintainers kicking around. i'm sure they'll be here soon to give you a more detailed answer. good luck :)

Hi, I've only maintained for three weeks but if you follow the plans up slowly you'll be fine.

I love only fresh foods now and pick an apple and some grapes over two jaffa cakes any day.

My tastes have changed and now I've got the body to look after I'll be bugg er ed if I'm going to fill it with preservatives, salt and horrid fatty stuff. Although I almost licked the counter in a muffin shop the other day where I'd gone for a coffee with Lisajo, huge with runny chocolate pouring out and a slice of mars bar on top. Saying that, it would have taken five minutes to eat, then I'd have spent the rest of my days saying.... wish I'd never.

It's all about changing the way you think. Cambridge will give you the results but while you're sitting with your shakes, think about lovely fresh colourful things you can eat, not what you're missing. Look forward to the new you xx

I've been maintaining for about four months now which is still fairly early days, but so far so good! As Dutch says, if you follow the plans they reintroduce carbohydrates slowly and you should continue to lose weight but at a slower rate. I too am enjoying a wide range of healthy foods with the odd indulgence here and there... let's not discuss what I have eaten today . It is good to plan ahead, I know I did, but try not to let it worry you too much.
