hi everyone, just wondering what sort of food people eat when they go out for meals? in my case I'm going out in about 1 1/2 hrs time to a Toby, was hoping someone could guide me on what to eat or what to avoid,:D its neither red/green day
cheers :eat:

Hi ya, i usually opt for a jacket potato without butter but with cheese and beans (i don't weigh my healthy extras as i prefer not to) and that usually comes with a side salad.
Im not really a pro at eating out at the moment as it doesnt happen very often lol So i tend to stick with the trusty jackets lol
I had a mushroom omellete today at a cafe and left half of it as it was soooo greasy (although i wouldn't have even noticed it before joining sw lol, weird aye!)
You can't go wrong with beans on a green day, as its always cooked the same way, im just weary with things like meat and eggs etc by the way its cooked, it is a bit awkward sometimes, but im sure someone has some ideas, i would love to know too!

go for a mixed grill and have a red day, there wontbe many syns in that. jsut be wary of sausages, chips, anything that is breaded and dressings on salads.

Toby.. dont they do carvery?? You could have turkey (they normally have this on the menu) or beef then pile on the veg.. They may do new pots but be wary of them covered in butter. A fruit salad for pudding??
