Hartleys no added sugar jelly pots

Striving for slimness
Hi all, am getting my shopping ready for week two tomorow, and when I was at work today I noticed we have Hartleys no added sugar jelly pots. I read the back and there is no sugar in them at all and they are 7 calories for a whole pot. I think they used to be reduced sugar, but these new ones have none in at all. Does this mean they will be ok as my sugar free jelly? Or will I have to buy the crystals that you make up yourself with water?

Yes, you can have the pots, it is the same stuff as the crystals. It is just cheaper to make it yourself.
Might be worth getting some you make up for at home. The tesco own (and other supermarket own too I expect) taste just as good, but are cheaper.

Yeah I think that would be a good idea, get ready pot ones for work and make up ones for at home. How much jelly/ yoghurt are we aloud a day, don't think I can find that info in the book

You should limit your yoghurt to 2 small pots a day.
You can have as much SF jelly as you like.

I tried one of these last night - blackcurrant and blueberry, and I'm afraid I only managed a few spoonfuls before I felt ill. I just can't stomach the artificial sweetener taste. :( so I shall have to give the jelly a miss and wait until I can have olives in week 5 instead.

I have to say that on its own I didn't like it at all and can only eat the tesco raspberry one, but it is nice when mixed with the plain yoghurt.

I wouldn't treat them as "free" foods, I remember when I did RTM - I restricted myself to ONE per day, and I either chose a Muller Light OR a jelly. It's learning self-control and discipline, and not taking food for granted 'just because' it's not 'harmful'.

:) Just a thought.
