SS+ Question...

Hi..Can anyone help me at all. My CDC has suggested that I might find SS+ easier for a little while and I am inclined to agree with them. Does anyone know what the loss differences are like compared to just SS? Just out of interest really. I want to do whatever it takes to get to the end of my journey, whether that be SS or SS+ plus it would be nice to see if the losses are comparable on both plans. xxx

Hiya, I did SS+ for three weeks:
1st week -9 3/4 lbs
2nd week-3 1/4 lbs
3rd week -1
Last week- wasnt shifting so Im now on SS.

Try it,do whatever works for you, I will prob SS for a month then SS+. Im just going with what my body tells me.

Good luck whatever u decide to do.

Thanks ladies, you are stars! I have been doing SS now on and off for a while and seem to have periods when I can stick to it and then I fall off :) So perhaps SS+ plus will ease me in to it gently so to speak! I discussed with my CDC about doing SS+ just for a few weeks and then perhaps going back on to SS so I think that I will see how I feel and what my body thinks like you suggest too!
Thanks again xx

I am kinda doing ss+. i tend to have something to eat every day, but it is low or has no carbs and I have lost slowly i believe.

I did ss 2 years ago for a while and what i can remember i lost 20lb in the first three weeks then it went down to 2-3lb a week. I only managed about 7 weeks though.

It all depends what you are comfortable with, I am happy not losing quickly as I came off the diet the other year as I couldn't physically do it anymore.

I am having problems sticking to it at the mo, but I just need to get motivated.

Good luck with what you decide

Thanks Shazza. That's the problem isn't it, it is hard but the results are fabulous! Good luck to you too xx

Hi, I did ss+ for first 3 weeks (wi 1: -7, wi 2: -2 wi 3: sts ) so last week cdc suggested I do ss. Just come back from wi 4 and lost 3 lbs. So that is 12lbs in 4 weeks (mostly ss+). Intend to stick to s now as I'm a slow loser anyhow.
Good luck,
Ceri

hey daisy,
i do ss+ and my losses are on par with alot of people on here that just do ss.the difference in losses a month are only about 1-2lb so it really is quite minimal, good luck with whatever you decide, personally i find ss+ a godsend,

Thanks Ceri and Elaine, a useful insight from you both :) You both have good losses too :)

Elaine - I think that if SS+ makes it more "doable" for me then that's the way to go for now. Your losses are fab so that's great to know! xxx

i really find that just being able to have something to eat really keeps me in line,i feel very full after a bit of chicken and a shake/mousse etc.
if you are struggling at all then i highly recommend you do ss+ to achieve your goal, and as ive stated it wont take you much longer than just ss`ing,

Thanks for the support Elaine, much appreciated. Can I just ask a quick question, when you are doing SS+, do you have the chicken with the green veg or just the chicken on it's own?

For example tonight I had, chicken, salad leaves and cucumber followed by my third pack as a frozen tetra, would that be ok ?xxx

I had my allowance of cottage cheese and the two tablespoons? (strange measure) of cucumber for my lunch today...

If you have a look in your booklet that your cdc gave you it tells you what you can combine. (basically protein and green veg/salad)

i just have the chicken on its own hun,as we are not allowed salt so i dont think that i could manage many veggies without it,i just buy the pre packed chicken(slices)as it needs no salt and away i go.
what you had sounds fine hun,i used to buy bernard matthews chargrilled chicken but none of my stores do it any more!!!!

Thanks Elaine and Debs :) I have my book and have been following that to the letter so just wanted to make sure I was doing ok :) xxx

so its ss+ all the way for you then, let me know how you get onand stay strong.a positive mental attitude works wonders, always say "i can "and you always will,
