Feeling despondant

I'm usually really upbeat and positive about this diet but over the last couple of weeks it seems to be really getting to me.
I've got my daughter's 1st birthday on 12th, my sister's hen night which i've organised on 28th and then her wedding on the 5th of July.
I've been trying to find a dress for the last minute wedding and i'm just feeling soooo fat still. I'd really hoped to be in a 16 by then but it really doesn't look like it. My weight loss has been sooo slow compared to others and this is with absolutely no cheating whatsoever. It's just really p*ssing me off.
Arrrrrrrgghhhh.
Sorry for the moan, it's just i've told no one i'm doing this diet so I don't have anyone else to let off steam too.
I'm just coming to the end of my 9th week and for everyone else just starting it really is fantastic, I think i'm just struggling to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

I know exsactly how you feel and have been there many times, but thiere IS light at the endof the tunnel, you just cant see it yet!

My loses have been slower than most too, and slower than yours!! For my first 8 weeks were....

Week 1 = 7lb
2 = 4
3 = 2.5
4 = 2
5 = 3
6 = 2.5
7 = 3
8 = 2.5

(and I have never, not once, cheated!)

Now, I am on week 14 and between a size 12 and 14, and when I started I was between 18 and 20.

You have done fantiasically well, you just need to keep going and you WILL get there!

This is a few months of your life where you really have to stick to it but you will be thin for years after and think of all the things in the future where you will feel confident and look fantiastic!

It IS a really pain and it really hard but you are doinggreat and it will all be worth it!!

You've done so well, once the initial high of the weight loss goes it can seem that things are not moving fast enough. But, believe me that one day you might just wake up and see a big difference in yourself - at least that is what happened to me when I did last year.
Stick at it you'll get to where you want to be. I always try on my old clothes so that I can 'see' how much weight I've lost gives me a bit of a boost.
Best of luck,
Ceri

Thank you girls. That's really helped, i've just got to keep my head down and get on with it. :rolleyes:
