Hiya.. I lost 12lbs in my first week.. Im halfway thru my 2nd week now but I just weighed myself and i havent lost anything!?!?.... whats goen wrong?

I admit Ive been on SS.... BUT for the last 2 days Ive had a tiny bit of chicken and cabbage much less that the measurements they say u can have on the SS+ booklet. I was just weak and needed to eat something and was getting headaches... but could this small amount of protein have meant I dont lose weight this week?...

I really wouldn't worry about it Emma sweetie a lot of the time it's just your body catching up with what's going on. 12lbs in your first week was a fantastic loss and it's probably just going to take a few days for your body to get used to the fact that you're losing so much weight so quickly.
The small amount of food you had shouldn't make a dramatic difference to your weight losses over all, if any at all.
Just remember that you are in this for the long run...it's not a sprint it's a marathon and there will plenty of other weeks coming up that you will lose large amounts of weight in one go.
You're doing really well, keep on going!

hiya, dont be to down. you lost 12lbs last week thats a huge loss. some weeks you will have big losses and some small. It will still even out at a stone a month. Keep going and try not to get to disheartned stay away from the evil scales!!

I'm not sure about the protein but perhaps its too early for this weeks weight loss to show. When I look at peoples weight loss on here it reassures me that the diet works. It just works differently for different people.

Well this is my reasoning this week anyway. I hope I remember my own advice lol.

Stick to it and good luck.

Hi, it's my second weigh in tomorrow and I really don't think I've lost much, if any. I read on one of these forums (I think) that it is quite common in the second week to have a low loss as your body goes into starvation mode. It all catches up over time though.

Don't give up hope. You might just lose the weight right at the end of the week.
Keep at it.
