Hi can you buy cd food online or get it delivered? i may find it hard to travel to a counsler each week,or can anyone let me know one near cw8,northwich cheshire

Have you looked on the cd website for a list of cdc's in your area? if you dont see one give the head office a ring there might be a new one. Dont think you can buy it online. Sometimes i get a 2 week supply from my cdc so i get weighed every 2weeks. she will post stuff as well if i need it or cant get to her. hth

You would have to buy your packs from a counsellor. Some counsellors will travel to you. To find your nearest one either use the find a counsellor pages on the cambridge diet website or as not all counsellors advertise on there you could ring head office on 01536 403344 and someone will be able to advise you of the counsellors in your area.

I only go to my cdc every other week, i know someone who only goes once a month :)

There are some CDC's that will travel to your home but you cant get CD online

God - don't ask the forbidden question!!!
No Cd packs are only to be sold by CDC's, who keep a close eye on your weight loss. There are good reasons for this - it also stops people charging an absolute fortune for them on the web.
Having said that though...and don't shoot me everyone...I think that CD should look at ways to provide a service on-line in a way that won't compromise people's health or purses!

Promise I haven't got a gun:D

To do an online service would be impossible really as the provider would have to fully rely on what the buyer told them re medical conditions etc. and therefore people who had contrindications to the diet could be putting their health at risk if they weren't honest about any medications, illnesses etc.

I don't really consider £1.65 - £1.90 for a meal expensive.

To add to what minilady said, it would open the system up to abuse by people with eating disorders. If they can get hold of CD products without having to be seen by a CDC weekly it would be very irresponsible of CD. I really can't see this as a viable option I'm afraid.

Yes - I agree - but if you could just have an initial consultation and then go 'electronic' it would be handy.
People can lie to your face or online - no difference. As for those with eating disorders - they will binge, starve, take meds with or without CD ( sounds odd but at least they'd get nutrients as opposed to coffee and cotton balls.)
I find having give up a whole evening a bit of a chore - I do school work in the evenings and my weekends are taken up by housework, entertaining my 2 1/2yr old and more work. I know it is totally worth it but right now I'm so busy and don't want to put the diet off until the summer.

My point is that CD has to think how it will look if people start coming forward that having eating disorders telling others that this is the easy way to lose weight but 'stay healthy', when they actually weigh in at 5st nothing and look like a skeleton. It wouldn't look very good on CD and it wouldn't be very responsible.

You could see your CDC monthly, we are able to provide up to 4 weeks worth of products at a time.
