Saggy Skin or Tummy Tuck?

Will you happily live with any excess skin or will you have it surgically removed?

I am worried about my stomach due to the two c-sections I've had and the total lack of lower tummy muscle...feel like abdominioplasty will be required, what about you?

I want to look good nekkid not just clothed!:D

No will leave it ..... someone said if you decorate one room the rest of the house looks shabby! I think if i had my tum done, then what about my boobs?? top of my arms?? bum?? .... list is endless!!!!

Major overhall would be required!!!!!

get yerself a slendertone belt, drink **** loads more water & try rubbing in some of that body butter stuff (not just bollock yoghurt) :D

Bollock Yogurt and shabby house......nutters!:D

a great saying....

I have been lucky (if you can call it that) with my weight gain in that it has lumped all over me so I don't think I will become 'loose' but I have seen the operation on tell and it does seem to leave rather a large scar from hip to hip - IMHO you need to decide whether any excess flesh is more unsightly to YOU than a scar

My OH has a little 'apron' which I do worry about if he loses the weight he wants to - a difficult one, might be worth having a free consult with a specialist to see what he thinks re scarring and healing:)

lmao x

I am worrying about this alot.... i know for a fact even if i get to 10.5/11 stone my stomach is still going to be out of proportion with the rest of me... i was around 14 stone a few years back before my second child... and i was like a size 14 legs and 16/18 stomach.... really dont fancy surgery though..but also dont want to hanging...especially after all this effort.... my doc has already told me my stomach muscles have completely seperated hence the overload at the front... i get mistaken for being pregnant quite often... dont know dont know...will have to cross that bridge when the time comes.. xx

Must....not.....comment.... so....hard....

:D

I don't know - serious subject turned to smut - didn't see on the 'sex or chocolate thread' - now that would call for dirthy thoughts :D

And for the record I am not a slack alice, I was born with 2 hymens so I will always be a virgin :D:eek:

Ang, that sounds jus like my stomach..... My stomach, is a horrid detached apron..... that is way out of proportion for the rest of me!!!! but i wouldnt go through the risk of an operation....I just try and wear miracle pants!!!!!

It's a bit daunting isn't it?

But I don't see the point in losing all this weight to end up looking dreadful at the end of it!

It's a waiting game.....a slendertone belt will not help me, only a scalpel...as for scarring, I am a great, quick healer so that's not an issue....my section scars are in the very same place and a fine line that's barely visible!

Do u ever watch that show extreme makeover UK... I cry at the end when they do the reveal... it is amazing what you can do...

I dont think I will have that problem, but if i did i would def consider all options to make myself happy with how i look... :)

I always used to be mistaken for a pregnant woman in the past but I'm guessing I'm looking old now as I haven't been asked when I was due recently! Lol!!

I know if I ever get to my target then I will have loose skin but I think I'd try non surgical methods first.

Right now I shall try and get myself into the position that I have to think of a solution - it'll be a while before that happens!

There is a girl in the inspiration Slideshow who was on extreme Makeover after losing a lot of weight, in fairness she got everything done.

Im in the same boat...had 3 c sections and tummy is the same. I am happy when i have clothes on and i dont feel too bad naked but only in frount of my OH!! I really would consider tuck if the option was there!! Think i will have to learn to love it tho! xxx

And you're tiny too, weight wise you are a perfect weight to me!

I will definately going down this route.....my future inheritance will have to pay for it!:D

Thanks, that nice to hear. My tummy still hangs over my you know what tho!! Oooo i sound attractive!! XXX

I don't think you know until the weights dropping off whether this is going to be a problem. I really thought I'd have some saggyness, but it all popped back in place....I was sooooo relieved. I hear what you are saying. I would have hated to lose the weight and have saggy skin...I know I defo would have had surgery to remove it, otherwise I'd be depressed everytime I get undressed. I love the expresssion flirty used, but I know it would have got me down.

I've got Spanx, Maureen! They do help a bit!

But I want the whole package...I want to wear a bikini and not get tan lines down to my knees....what worries me is as I lose more weight, the fat disappears but the skin is like a empty old pocket hanging in the breeze....so I will have to have it chopped!
