Pepper??

Hi,

I didnt like the chicken soup at all (i held my nose and gulped it down i thought it was so vile), then fattothin said he put pepper in his, so today i tried it with pepper, and I have to say to was really really nice, I enjoyed my soup!!!

Then i just read a post where someone said their weight loss went up when they stopped using pepper and papikra in their soup.

I was just wondering how many people out there can tell me if you have good weight losses using pepper.

I did enjoy the soup, but would rather have minging soup and get thinner quicker, but obv prefer to keep using the pepper and enjoy it AND get thin!!!! lol

Any comments on this are much appreciated as I dont want to do anything to mess up....

Im on Day 5 now and I feel good. :)

Hiya that was me who had the bad losses. Strictly speaking you shouldn't add anything to them and i've cut it out incase that was what was affecting me but gaz has loads of spices in his soups and is still losing 5lb a week so everybodys different. I have alot of trouble losing weight, my body doesn't seem to want to let go so i'm just taking precautions. Have to say tho i'm missing the pepper.

Hi Julz, I did an experiment some time back and tried a week without any addatives and there was no significant difference. But the bottom line, officially is to add nothing. xx

Yeah i know i am not meant to add anything - but wow - that pepper makes a massive difference in the soup - and it is nice to have a savoury option.

Just looked at what you want to lose - you'll be tiny...just jealouse, wont eva get there

I add loads of curry powder to mine, it's the only way I can take it, and it never affected my weight loss. I think part of the reason that you're advised not to add anything is that God forbid food might taste nice, then we might all start going on the hunt looking for real food! The idea is that if everything is bland and your taste buds are deadened, you won't have cravings.
