Okay, not a pleasent subject but advice needed!!
Not 'going' to the loo regular (once a week) so think it's time to get some help. :sick0019:
I've read quite a bit about psyllium husk and just wanted some advice on which is the easiest to take? Can you mix it with the shakes? Think i've read that someone does this and it goes like porridge-which does appeal to me!!
Also which is the best place to buy it and what sort of cost? :character00148:

ive tried the powder as porridge and didnt really like it but lots of people do like it. Id give it a go and see what you think. I just have the PH in tab form now and i have had no problems:) i bought them in the uk in H&B think it was 13pounds sorry cant really remember. big tub 200 in it :) other people get them from healthspan i think

I have the husks, which I buy in my local health food shop. they cost £10 for a huge jar which is probably going to last me about two months-ish.

I mix mine into my 3 shakes each day, and small amount in each as I can't stand it when it goes like porridge as it makes me gag. I think this works out cheaper than the capsules and I find that it tastes fine, a bit like those Activia yogurts with muesli in them.

Whichever form you take I think you will be very happy. TMI I know but I was suffering before I starting taking them and it's all fine now :)

The tablets definitely! I liked the porridge type stuff at first, but now it makes me feel sick to think of it! The tablets work, I'm very happy now I have discovered them! xx

I take fibersure capsules, they are PH :) and they work great
