portion sizes on refeed/maintenance

So everyone says watch your portion sizes when trying to lose weight, so do we when we do start eating again, do we still need to watch our portion sizes for 'free' foods/0 ww pointed foods like certain fruit/veg for example or does 'watch your portion size' relate to everything else? I know on refeed you have certain amounts of foods but for when I want to know for when I start maintenance I love all the 0 pt veg, is there anyharm in eating a big portion with some fish/chicken?
 
I reckon for a few weeks hun its best to be careful with portions..i was. Now i have much bigger portions as long as its healthy. Tonight i had Gammon with a full tin of sweetcorn. Early into maintenance i would only have 2 spoons full xxxx
 
Basically watch the portion size on everything! You will find that you just physically can't eat the same amount you did before losing weight, which is a good thing. If you stop when you are full, then that's OK, if you go past that feeling, then all you will do is stretch your stomach to its limit and make it want more the next time, and so on. Before you know it, you'll be back where you were before you started! Portion control is the best way forward, and a little of what you fancy does you good, that's my motto! (But not too many times lol) x x x

so on maintenance do you try stick rigidly to the 3 meals or can you snack 'healthily in between' I plan to do like a ww points system while Im on maintenance, what dya think because after maintenance I will prob go back to ww to try lose the rest of my weight

It depends what you mean by maintenenance hun? to me mainenance is maintaining my weight in the low 11s for the rest of my life! In which case you have to find something that works for you. Personally i have my 3 healthy meals and the odd low fat snacks. You need to find a balance with your food that allows you to maintain your target weight xxx

I havent reached my target weight yet, I want to lose about another 2st. Was going to do maintenance programme for 2-3wks after my wk of refeed which is next wk or should I just forget about the maintenance prog and just stick to the low fat healthy options instead and try reach goal that way. I know what I should be eating and what I shouldnt. I have lost 2.5st before on ww but then children came along and it all went pear shaped (including the body lol)
 
I didnt use the maintenance foods hun you could just see how you go after refeed, i was losing too much on refeed so had to just eat normal and healthy xx
