Hey... Im goin on holiday for 10 days at the end of june and my chemist told me that he wanted me to start re-feed two weeks before i leave as sometimes refeed can be hard to get into so doesnt want me doing it just a week before. He said that he'd probably give me a few maintenance packs to take out with me as well.

Ya I agree, about two weeks to be sure.I would start last week in June and start introducing salads with fish chicken eggs dairy jellyetc one meal in the evening to start then two a day then a shake in morning only and then food glorious food.Although I have a friend who went on hols had a shake for breakfast and just watched her portion control at mealtimes and eat what she wanted and made sure she swam and had one hours walk everyday and lost 2lbs.So, really its more a what you can handle mind wise as well as food I think. At the end of the day enjoy Malta its prob you're one hol this summer so enjoy

Firstly hun i reckon the whole point in losing weight on LT is to totally change our eating habits, so to have a break and eat how you used to would be defeating the object! I would personally refeed for a couple of weeks before your hol to adjust your body and then maybe take maintenance food for breakfast when over there and have 2 healthy meals? xxx

Confused bout maintenance

Just been reading up on the maintenance prog from one of the lipotrim websites. It says
To Maintain Present Weight: - Take a maintenance product before a low calorie breakfast and lunch. For dinner have a normal low fat meal.
To Reduce Present Weight: - As above but add a maintenance product before dinner. This will help restrict the calories needed in your dinner meal.
I thought the idea of maintenance was to have the product in replacement of some of your meals. Am I wrong?

No hun not necessarily although you can do! i personally am maintaining without the maintenance foods. you can replace or have them in order to have a smaller meal xx

Still confused
Surely if you have them instead of your meal you are consuming less calories in the day whereas if you have them before your meals you will be taking in more calories, I personnally cant see the logic here
