SUNDAY Hour x Hour

Blonde Logic

Yes. You can.
Morning gods and goddesses! :D

A beautiful Sunday down here, and I will be too busy to enjoy it. Got LOADS to do today to get ready for our trip....I hate packing and getting ready - worst part of a journey. But its got to be done and worth it so I won't moan to much.

Oh - you all remember me looking forward to getting into my gorgeous brown leather trousers for riding?

Well....I got in to them alright. And they fell down. I tell you - the window of opportunity on this diet is easily missed!!! I'm gutted though as I love them, and have wanted to be in them for over a year, and they were not cheap - nearly £100!! And now the only way they stay up is with a belt, and that puckers up the waste and looks like I am wearing nappy's!!! LOL Time to find a good leather alterations specialists as I WILL wear them! :D

I did a bit of shopping at Matalan for the trip - got some cute little vesty tops for the Caliofrnia Sunshine! Thught the UK sunshine ain't bad these days either!! I found their sizes run small. Anyone else find that?

Well lovely's - best bet busy.

See you later and have a good day!!

Urgh to packing but it's not the worst part for me - that's when I get home and have to unpack .... think I'd rather the airports just lost the suitcases - well as long as I haven't bought any goodies to bring home.

Least if you get it all done today then you're sorted and ready for the off - I'm so happy for you going home for what will be a gorgeous visit .... though having been there for 3 weeks last year I'm also jealous as hell - in a nice way of course :D

It's a bloody heavenly day here, sun is beating down - just put a few bits of washing on the line. My feet are killing me from all the walking yesterday, hadn't kind of planned to do that much and had put high heel sandals on - ouch!

Trying to decide what to do with today but haven't come up with any great ideas up to now - though I'm off out to the front of our house in a minute having a game of Kerby with Nat - wish me luck :)

Morning peeps,

Had a lovely night sleep - brought and put up a ceiling fan in the bedroom yesterday - creates a lovely breeze, kept me nice and cool - now want to get another couple to put up in the living room.

OH is taking me to Bluewater today to get me some new clothes - fed up with trousers and shorts being too big!! Only going to get a few pairs of each - want to spend a fortune in Florida in October so just need enough to get me through till then - also, as I still want to get down to the 34 inch waist (and am a 36/38) at the moment.

Had a lovely surprise this morning, had a message on Facebook from my half-sister. We havn't spoken in 6 and a half years, since a huge blow out between my mother and me over 9/11 (my OH is a survivor). Was good to hear from her, and hopefully will now be able to move on and get to know one another again!!

Hope you have a good day all.

morning all :) Havnt been posting much- had a bit of a slippery start with RTM- nothing out of control but found that I had the most intense sweet tooth ever and I was eating too much crap.
Iv been back on track for 4 days but havnt been weighed for 2 weeks (Counciller on holiday, then the bank holiday) which defo hasnt helped.

Morning,
I'm feeling really good today, which is partly down to the sunshine and partly down to my PMA.

I'm wearing a skirt today that I haven't worn for 6 years (how I love to hoard stuff) and it fits with ease. :D I'm also going to have to nip to Matalan for some new vest tops, all mine are way too big and show my bra all the time.

Hope everyone enjoys the sunshine today.

Corey that is really lovely news about your sister, so happy she's got in touch with you - you're going to have such a lot to catch up on :)

lol BL I had a giggle at what you said about the window of oppurtunity being missed...so right! Hope you have a fab time in california..will be there myself in nov! :party0011:
You will be missed round these parts though!

OK, so I just don't get me! When I was a bit of a lard arse, and could only get trousers to fit (size 44) in Debenhams and M&S - I would go in and come out with 4 or 5 pairs of trousers, hundreds of shirts, shorts etc. So end up going to Lakeside instead of Bluewater this morning, and all I came back with was two pairs of trousers and one pair of shorts - couldn't find anything I liked. I am seriously hacked off - get a change to blow a fortune on OHs credit card, and even that isn't incentive enough!!

However, have discovered, Next clothes come up on the small side (had to get 38s), but the Ralph Lauren Chinos I got were very comfortable at 36.

Anyways - off to move a large raised border in my garden before my parents in law come over to nick my spare lawnmower while theirs is being repaired.

Ciao for now!

Hi Everyone,

Sooo frustrated I couldnt get my lap top to turn on and not computer literate. Dont know what I did but its working now.

Having a lazy day, mucked out 5 horses in between sunbathing. It is really hot today.

Nice to hear about your sister contacting you Corey, and BL you should get yourself some new leather trousers when you get to goal as you deserve. Getting very jeolous of all these packing cases.

I think I am gonna put my mini trampolene in the garden you never know I might just jump on it occasionally, perhaps when the sun goes down a bit.

I got my summer clothes down from the loft and most of them are too big whey hey, but also found another bag that had got hidden and it has some shorts in there a size 14. Way to tight at mo, but it made me decided what size I want to get down to. Been unsure before, but a 14 will do me at my age;)

Feeling so much more positive thanks to you lot, I felt I was in a dark tunnel and it was just your little lights of hope were keeping me going. Now I cant see what all the fuss was about.

But thanks anyway.;)

Glad you are feeling better Lady :) A new day(s) always help too.

My leathers ARE new! lol - never worn once. Can't afford to just dsah them unfortunately. But I'm not complaining! (Just seeking a leather seamstress!! :D)

I reckon I will be happy at a size 14 too. I am going to try to get to a 12, just to see if I can do it.....but I realised the other day a UK 12 is a USA 10 - and I never wore a size 10 except on the way up. So a 14 is reasonable.

Keep the shorts out where you can see them and in no time at all you'll be in 'em!!

Hopping on your trampoline sounds fun!

Think I'm heading for a 12, think that would be perfect ... have never been one except when I passed it in growing! Am hoping that I'll just 'feel right' when I get to some point.

I'm hoping to be in a 12 by christmas - I have been dropping sizes fast and bought 2 size 18 vest tops in the supermarket today.

I was expecting them to be too tight now, but thinking they'd be ok by my holiday in 6 weeks time. I tried one on and it fits fine now. I shall keep on drinking plenty of water and exercising lots and hopefully I shall have dropped to a 16/18 by my hols.

Hey guys, great news about your sis Corey... LL glad to hear you feeling positive!! Hope everyone has had a positive day, mine was spent sitting by a lake reading whilst my hubby fished... gorgeous day... doesn't the sunshine make you feel good? I've had so many strokes in the past couple of days I don't think I've come down from cloud 9 yet!My new job is going fine... working full-time has come hard after only working part time for so long!!! Ah well... gotta pay for me LL somehow!!lol
