To use immac on a 8 year olds arm pits?

reason is my daughter has arm pit hair quite alot, and with this weather she is embarressed.....

would it be ok to use that? i dont really want to shave them... :(

thanks

aaaah bless her.... it breaks my heart that little girls seem to be maturing so fast these days....

I would look at using the immac sensitive and do a patch test.... I used it once and I've fairly sensitive skin and it kind of burnt my skin and made it really sore....

Perhaps get some sensitive skin one and do it overnight see how she gets on....

Bless her......

Awww bless her, perhaps ask the chemist if there are any treatments suitable for youngsters, or as mich said do a small test first. x

id defo do the patch test as i've also used immac in the past and it made my skin really itchy and sore! its a shame shes so young but if she is embarrassed and fnding it tough then maybe it is the right thing to do x

i use immac sensitive down there uh hummm and am ok with it.. i will do a patch test on her leg :)

thanks guys :)

this is prob whats adding to her bahavour puberty and all.. started when she was 6

Wow that is really young. Have you taken her to the doctor? I know they can sometimes slow it down but I think (my recollection is a bit fuzzy) it has to be slowed before they start their periods, but it would be awful for her if she had to deal with periods before she was 10

I would patch test on her underarm, skin is slightly different than her legs hun, its more sensitive.

Me too..... my legs don't have any reaction but under my arms are really sensitive....

Hope she gets on OK....

Alternatively perhaps trim it really short as spooky suggests....

I can use immac everywhere (!!) but under my armpits. Burns and is really sore. Why not buy an elestric shaver that she can use?? They are safe, unlikely to nick the skin and won't be allergic to. My one from superdrug is a wet/dry one, so can use it in the shower and cost about £20.00.

i dont want her to start shaving! will do patch test under her arm then.. lol

bless her

yes took her to docs 2 times both docs said she was ok! when i went to see a doc for a prob i had i mentioned it to her and she said get her in to see me i will refer her.. but got to wait till end of month for her cus she fully booked up.. i only got one more week in wales so i am goign to get her in as an emergency hopefully ! and demand a referel.. getting beyond now!

OH bless her heart, poor little thing. Thats so young! I was 12 when puberty landed & that was bad enough. (44 now & its still ingrained in memory!)

My daughter is 9, with no signs of anything as yet, alth she can be a difficult so&so at times!! Cant imagine dealing with all this as well as her outbursts.

Give your little one a cuddle too, wont you!

Awwww, really feel for you, I definately feel your gp should refer you to someone!
There was recently a story on This Morning about a girl going into puberty at 6!
There are support groups, out there, My daughter 11 1/2( with sp needs) and last year she started with some changes, and this month she had some spotting.... really scary!!!

Hope you get sorted

I started my periods when I was 11 and it wasn't too nice. I know some of the girls in my school were 13 and ever 14 before they started theirs

I'm pretty sure this is what could be behind your little girl's problems Amethyst: Precocious Puberty -link for reference
Poor little thing, as for the immac I think it'd be ok if you buy the sensitive one and just leave it on for a couple of mins.
