hi everyone, getting so much inspiration already!

hi guys!!
after lots of technical problems managed to join the forum. Wel here it goes... i'm roxy and i'm 26, started lipotrim mon so been on it 5 days and it's been sooo tough. I had a blip yesterday when i had fried egg on toast. Felt absolutely terrible after but i'm determined to see this through! If it wasn't for all your inspirational stories, I wouldn't have made it past day1, so thank you guys cause it really does help the newes. Here's all the bmi stuff: i'm 5ft 3ins and weigh 82kg and want to get down to 60kg. After years of battling with my weight I'm determined to beat the weight issue once and for all!
I really hope that it'll become easier soon or else i don't know what to do.
Does anyone have any useful tips to make it a bit more comfortable?

Hi roxy and welcome to the boards, youl find loads of advice on here but what i suggest is DONT EAT ANYTHING AT ALL at least until your first weighin, then youl have all the inspiration you need when you see a fab loss and YOU WILL IF YOU STICK TO IT. i got through my first week by keeping busy, trying to stay focused, i emptied my fridge (only possible cos i live alone), spread out your shakes you can split them if you want and just remember youve eaten for many reasons besides hunger in the past and your body will be screaming for the habits youve created but keep in mind your reasons for doing it. this is a very small part of your life your going to sacrifice when you look at the bigger picture. A month or so out of your life is nothing (for me) compared to the years of misery ive had with being over weight. Keep telling yourself your reasons and everytime you think of food or want to cheat, get drinking your water. I had all the probs in week one, exhausted, headache, no sleep, hunger pangs the works but i kept teling myself it was my body detoxing and it only lasted the week, i now feel brilliant, and trust me you will be amazed at your own abilities when you get to weighin. You can do this, go look at the before and after pics on here and we are all behind you all the way hun, i couldnt have got through my first week without this site and im soooooo glad i did, if i can do it so can you, jx

water, water and more water!

I agree with Lumpyroo, I buy sparkly water and then I know how much I'm drinking, 2 bottles of 2litres a day, I find it so much easier to drink than still water. If you buy the supermarkets own its only 17p a bottle. You knoe exactly how much you've drank .

Good luck;)

water, water and more water!

start weight 87.4kg

todays weight 80.7kg

hey hun - good luck - happy to help if needed!!

Hello newbies. It is tough at the beginning, but if you are going to cheat...try not to eat bread:( The egg is not as bad as the bread. Athough there is more fat in an egg it will not kick you out of ketosis, but the bread might and you are just prolonging the tough times. Put that behind you now.....onward and upward (well actually downward LOL).

Good luck with the weekend. They can be tough. Get through it to weigh in and you'll see it was all worth it.x

Scousemouse start a new thread cos other people won't realise your here unless they read this thread

Hi to all you newbies. I'm now on re-feed after losing 4stone. YOU CAN lose your weight. Ok it can be hard at times, but this diet has given me the opportunity to lose weight like I've never lost it before. Getting through the first week is quite daunting, but when you go to get that first weigh-in over and done with, you will come out of the chemist with the biggest grin across your face, with all the incentive you need to carry on and do well. This site is great for support, a good moan, or just a chat, any questions that need answering, just ask away. Good luck on your journey's, it wont be long before you get to your goal. xx Happy Lipotrimming

Hey Roxy, I started on Monday too! We should totally talk to eachother and encourage eachother - thats one great thing I love about this place. (The people!)

Its been hard too, I do miss the yummy taste of food and its only been 5 days!! lol. You might hate the shakes and stuff at first (as did I) and I had no idea how I would ever cope, but then suddenly your tongue starts to get use to it - and actually think its nice!

But do ya LOVE me the most missy? XX

Hi jackie and the rest of u supportive guys!
thanks for such a detailed reply full of motivational tools which were so helpful! i've just finished my first week and haven't had another blip (touch wood) and finding it a little easier although because i'm a teacher, i'm still drooling over the smell of food from the canteen but i feel just a little stronger to resist the urge! good for you that u've managed to stick this through. You're right there are sooo many inspiring pics that i was amazed to see. I just hope that fairly soon we can all be on there too. I honestly think that this site is the best ever equivalent to chocolate cake because everyone is soo supportive and welcoming and i'm certain that if it wasn't for this i would've relapsed by now... Anyway i'm finding that a little exercise is keeping my hunger pangs at bay and listening to music is a good way of staying motivated for me because it gives your mind a chance to wonder off and imagine yourself what you look like as a slimmer you aswell as making the urge to eat a little easier.
