My first 'bad' day..

lillypop

now got pictures in album
Today has been my first 'bad' day. I didnt eat but my emotions with food were all over the place. I have found it relatively easy to stop eating and have really enjoyed it but the last couple of days I've been sooooooooooooo hungry and no amount of water or coffee or tea stops me feeling it! I know its mentally and I feel a lot better tonight just reading other peoples success stories, I just have such a long way to go, 10 more stone to lose, but I've done OK so I have to keep remembering that, I nearlllllllllllllllllllllly had some chicken and salad tonight but I didnt. I'm going to bed now but I'm so hungry! I just wish it would go away!

Firstly, well done for staying strong and secondly you are doing brilliantly. Try not to look at the long haul and just take it a day at a time. The feelings will pass and you will be chuffed to bits knowing you got through it.

Gxx

Thanks Georgie!! I think its because I have so much to lose its hard to look at myself and still feel the same. I've nearly lost 3 stone and dont feel any different. Isnt that sad!! LOL!! Lets hope after 2 more stone I actually notice!! :p

I know exactly what you mean but it will happen and suddenly you will be able to see the difference. It's the Ed principle that Icemoose posted about.... sorry if you've already heard it but here goes. If you think of yourself as a kitchen roll (Ed) and every sheet is worth 1lb of weight. When the roll is new and full one sheet only goes part way round but as the roll gets smaller those sheets go round several times. So basically the more you lose the more visible each lb becomes. One things for sure though it will happen and suddenly you will be able to see the difference.

well done!!!!!!!

:)youve done really well if this your first bad day and your doin so well! ive ad loads of the buggers, its bloody hard but going to be worth it in the end!!!!

hi lillypop, it can be tough at times. your getting through it though and hopefully it will pass. Ive lost 3stone to and cant notice a difference ok clothes are alot looser but i just cant see it :(
you are doing really well, keep up the good work i bet by the time we have another 2stone of we will start noticing

becky xx

Don't look at it that you have alot to lose , some people put up tickers for a stone at a time , and think about getting that ticker to the end of that stone .... ?

I definitely agree with breaking it up into smaller more manageable goals, thinking 10 stone ahead can feel like a mountain but breaking into smaller goals you will feel like you are making better progress

Look at what you have acheived already in 7 weeks its fantastic.

I hope you have a better day today

You've done so well! Hope you're feeling more positive today, I think it's amazing how well you've done and also that you managed not to cheat when you were feeling so low.

Keep up the good work - you can do it!

thanks everyone i am feeling much better today and i saw the number 19 on the scales but only a flicker 19 stone 13lbs!! i get weighed tomorrow but i doubt i'll be this as this was first thing in the morning starkers after a wee and no water hahaha you know how it is !!! :p
