General W/C 23rd October 2006!

Well my good news is that after years of buying and wearing size 30 pyjamas I decided a couple of months ago to buy smaller. So bought 2 nighties in size 16/18. (But I've still been wearing the huge pyjamas.) Well left them in the packs and last night decided to try one on and it fits. So I am so happy

Congratulations Irene!!!

I love pyjamas too especially when i was pregnant I bought loads of them in XXL size to fit right up to the birth. Sadly over the last 4 years I grew and grew until they were feeling snug on me.

Now they would drop off but I'm still hanging on to them just incase baby no 4 is on the cards!!!

Mizzy did agree if I got to healthy weight it would be a consideration he thought it was a pretty safe bet then though!!! ha ha

It's so nice to fit into new clothes really glad you treated yourself as you certainly deserve to.

Hi,

Congrats Irene on getting into smaller pjs.

I sadly had the afternoon off cd yesterday as I had my youngest's birthday party and I have not been drinking much water since Friday. I did feel a little ill because of this too.

I didn't have any birthday cake but have decided to stick it in the freezer until I can have it.

I hope I haven't done much damage .

Have a nice day

After years of wearing pyjamas I've now bought nighties for the new me. Felt very strange last night without my pyjama bottoms.

Hi everyone,
Hope you are all well this fine sunny morning.
I had another visit from the hungry monsters yesterday evening, in spite of the 40g complex carbohydrate in my evening meal. This really worries me, I hate the feeling, but it's there and has to be dealt with - it WILL not be ignored.
I fended this one off with 5 lots of fruit and 3 cambridge jellies with yoghurt, but WHY does this happen?? on SS I was fine in the evenings!!!! Oh well, back to real life today, perhaps that will help. Off to the gym soon for the first time in 4 weeks. Will weigh myself on the scales there and assess the damage!

Hi everyone, back from my hols but yet to feel in the 'dieting mood'. Did really well, only gained 1 lb on cruise but need to get my self in gear now as the weeks to Christmas are going to fly by.
Hope everyone is doing well; How are you now Kam? Feeling much better I hope. Sorry about your hungry mood Ann, I wonder if it goes with the not so nice weather we have at the moment?
Any suggestions for getting back in the right frame of mind would be greatly appreciated! Love

Well done happygal thats a fab loss was that your first week?

Irene....well done on getting into those smaller nighties!

Ann....well done you as well for being good and not letting that chatterbox let you eat something really naughty.

Barb....welcome back! I'm not bad thanks. Still got this blasted headache though. I think its stress now as I'm pretty stressed out about stuff at the moment. Thanks for asking.

Sweetbun....well done on resisting that cake. It was my son's birthday yesterday and I wish I'd resisted that rather large chunk of cake .

Everyone else hope your all well and drinking loads....erm that reminds me! I must have a drink my mouth is so dry all the time.

Irene this really bought a tear to my eye...I'm not even quite sure why but it really struck me what an amazing journey you've had! Well done, hun and just keep on going...xxx :)

Hello,

How is everyone doing?

Happygal, well done on lost 14.5lb in your first week, hows it going for you?

K, Ive only resisted the birthday as im at my mums where theres no goodies to eat lol. Ive forgotten my cd packs today so ive been drinking tea and water all morning. I hope to survive the afternoon too.

Barb, a lb gain after being on hols is great. Will you be back on the wagon now your'e back?

I must say after losing a little I do feel sexier when I'm all dressed going to work. I wonder if anyone's noticed my new sexy walk :D ...sorry another mad moment!

Funny you should say about sexy walks.

Since I've got more curvy and less blobby, I've started to slip on heeled shoes at work. (still can't drive or walk down the road far in them) It makes me feel so much better walking around the office. I feel tall and proud instead of it being an effort to walk from one room to another.

Really helps that people all keep complimenting me too, makes me hold my head up high instead of worrying I might trip down the stairs of barge into someone coming the other way.:)

I've bought some high heeled shoes as well, Champess. Haven't worn them much, but I agree with what you say.
My OH said a lovely thing to me the other day (doesn't do it often) He said he had been looking at me while I was asleep, and that I looked happy. He said when I was asleep before, I used to look angry.

Hi Ann,

This is one of the things that hits me in all the after photos and that is how well and happy everyone looks!!!

You are probably feeling so much better and healthier in yourself .

You radiate out of your picture and I can't believe your nearly 60?

You don't look it!!!

I have got heels myself but still feel to big to wear them, I have been in ecco shoes for years and they are so comfy:rolleyes:

Have to practise...

ann that is such a touching comment! :D how sweet of your OH.

Irene congrats on getting into clothes of such a different size!! Whether they be nighties or pj's! ;) I'm a pj girl i must admit as often out of bed in the night to see to the baby etc. don't always grab a dressing gown..

reminds me must buy a new dressing gown as mine is a size 30 from when I was pregnant with Erin (she's 7 now..) lol

I'm feeling very poorly today don't know what it is... my shakes have made me want to vomit too so that's not good... I've eaten, but trying not to eat a lot. Still shivery and i've slept for 3 hours this morning.. not like me at all.

Hi everyone,

Sorry I've been so quiet! Hope everyone's had a good few weeks.

Have had a good holiday but what with dissertation & exam eating I now need to relose 7lbs AGAIN to get back where I was...

Ann, I have replied to you on the other thread with a link to a great teach yourself Spanish book. The one at yours in Spain was dreadfully confusing whereas this one is logical & fairly simple. (It's also half price on Amazon which is good!) Have included with the pics a squirrel one - it was going so fast I was lucky to get any!

Love to all & thanks for all the virtual hugs passed on!

Hi,

Ann that's not your real age is it:eek: ? After all age is just a number isn't it;) .

How is everyone doing today? I'm tired:( , I don't know why I went to bed earlier that normal. I've not been having much water in the day and I think I could be dehydrated, hence I now have a headache. Oh well CD wise things are going well, I've got my WI tomorrow.

Have a good day everyone despite the horrible weather,

Just a quickie for those who don't read my diary thread (loads seem to, but relatively few people post on it so I never know who does or who doesn't *lol*) but ...

I bought my first ever size 10 today! A gorgeous black evening skirt from New Look :) . It's quite flared at the hips and I tried the size 12 first but it was too big on the waist - so got the sales assistant to get me a size 10 and it fits perfectly! I just happen to think it's a big fitting .. but it says size 10 on the label so that'll do for me ;) :D
