as everyone prob knows my GOALS have been my main stay on this diet.

CD can seem like a long haul as we generally all have a good few stone to lose and it does seem like it will never happen when we start this diet.

i personally never ever dreamt id get this far and still feel so positive about getting to my final goal of 9,1.

SO i want everyone to set some goals!!!

this is going to be a thread that i will refer to regularly to see if everyone is on target and if not why not lol...

i promise it really does help if you break down the journey into sizeable chunks and maybe allow some rewards along the way. this helps with motivation and makes the journey seem less of a struggle and not so much neverending!!!

here are mine;

19th april 2008 - friends bday meal, i would go if i got into 10's

3rd may 2008 - wedding, i wanted to be 10,7

15th may 2008 - 100 days 4 stone?

6th june 2008 - center parcs with girls, want to be healthy BMI, so 9,11 (we go every year last year i was 12,10 so this year will be fab - bikini alert)

4th july 2008 - group holiday to turkey, want to be 9,1 and 5 stone gone!

please add your goals onto this thread so we can all motivate each other!
 
This Week Goal - Stick to it and not get on the scales
This Month Goal - Get into the 13's (currently 14.7)
Pre Wedding Goal (04/07/08)- get to 13.00 or below
Pre Honeymoon (03/08/08)- Get near to 11 st (11.03 and I'd be happy)

Overall goal (timelimit of xmas)- 10st
 
I'm on day 4 of my restart so my 1st goal is to get through this week and not weigh myself till Saturday! Bigger goals will come once i get this first week out of the way!!
 
hey bluemoon, i started with 70lbs to lose. it has flown by and im hoping to be at 50lbs lost tomorrow in 12 weeks.

good luck it will happen so fast!
 
Thanks keeley for helping me set my goals, you are a star. I feel so much better now, it really does look better broken down like this.

START 29/04/08 - 16st 10lbs

GOAL 1 : 23/05/08 - 15st 7lbs Partners 30th bday party

GOAL 2 : 5/06/08 - 15st - Hen weekend to benidorm

GOAL 3 : 9/08/08 - 13st - Good friends wedding

GOAL 4 : 15/10/08 - 12st - Leave for cyprus on the 15th, get married on the 20th and its my birthday on the 23rd.

My first goal was to get to day 4, second goal get passed a weekend, then I just got me heeeeeeeeeed down, all of a sudden I blinked and I was in the 11stones??????? In no time at all....

I gave myself rewards each week for sticking, albeit a costly charm bracelet - well actually the charms that go on it. Leg waxing - how the hell did I work that out as a 'treat', the best one was the pamper spa day with Georgie & Sue and my SIL....

Bit worried, as of late my clothes stock is completely diminished....
I have 1 pair of black combats, black skinny jeans, blue skinny jeans which might be too big now and a couple of tops that fit.... I can feel a large shop coming on shortly.... I'll save that til GOAL GOAL though xxxxxxxxxxx
 
my goal is to get to the end of my first month, 2nd day of week 2 and im doing ok, altho im wishing the wks away already....seems such a long haul, but im just keeping up with you lot, you are an insperation I know now it can be done x
 
everyone get some tickers in your signatures! it helps to see it moving down and to see your bmi getting healthier all the time x

My goals are:

6th May - WI 14- Under 19 stone
8th May- 100 days- Shift 4 stone total
13th July- sis's big 40- be 16 st 7lbs!
 
Fab idea...great motivation.

My goals are:

13 stone by May 31st
12 stone by June 30th
11 stone by August 31st
10 stone by October 26th when I go on my hols

^ hopefully I will beat every target...so I better get water guzzling.

My goals are at the bottom of my signature ... and totally led by the Mini's meets!! After Belfast in Feb, I had lost before the Brum one and people noticed. It was great!!! So addicted to meets and losing weight before each one!

1st goal is 12lb off bt Glasgow meet at end of May.
 
You are SO going to meet those targets CD08!

My main goals are at the bottom of my signature, but I have a few mini goals to meet in the mean time, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, I have rewards planned for when I meet them.

1) 100% SS this week - reward - Book myself in for an Eyebrow shape(Boy do they need doing:eek:)

2) Stick to (my version) of the diet until the end of May - No 'cheating'! - reward - have a facial

3) Be a comfortable size 12 by DH's birthday at the end of June - Reward - Take hiim out for a meal (sticking to Low carb/Low fat foods for me:))

4) Be at my goal of 10 stone by 21st July - just in time for the school holidays so I'll be a fit and fabulous mummy who can run around and play with my children without resembling a Jelly
 
I want to be at least 15.7 before june 20th - going to London on a major shopping spree all my clothes are hanging of me im like a tramp!

so i hit my goal of 10,7 for may day and wedding this weekend.

is anyone else getting nearer to their next goal?

i now have 10lbs to lose by june 6th for a girly weekend at center parcs.

My goals are;-
1. To lose 3 lb this week and then I'll be 'overweight' instead of 'obese'.
2. In the 10's by the end of May
3. In the 9's by the end of June
4. Go through the plans to maintain and be slim 'normal' BMI by my little girls birthday end July
 
hmmm... so many

this week lose 7lbs
May lose 21lbs (know I can do it if I stick to it!) Then I can buy my ascot dress
Ascot June the 19th - have lost 3 stone - 12.5lbs gone already! so that will be 7 stone gone forever!

Long term - Lose 10.5 stone in total - Aiming for 5th wedding anniversary at the end of Aug 08
Compete in a triathlon! eek!
 
Hey my goals are
Goal 1: Stick to SS for 7 days, no cheating.
Goal 2: Lose 1 stone by June 1st making me 9stone 8
Goal 3: Get to target of 8 stone 13 by July 1st.
Goal 4:Maintain!
 
How is everyone getting on with their goals? Im feeling good about mine and the scales are moving in the right direction which is great to see x
