It's official, I have just gone through my toughest challenge yet on CD.
I've just cooked my OH steak with chips, mushrooms, tomatoes and peppercorn sauce. And i'm now currently sat opposite him whilst he's eating it.
Ooooh this has definately been the toughest challenge yet, lol.

I have to ask, why did you do it to yourself? :)

BUT really well done on making it through the challenge you are a stronger person than me, I wouldnt be able to test myself that much :)

Its not easy is it. My OH and kids had indian and chinese last night. I find it easier to ignore it all til its finished by hiding in my daughters room and reading all these messages of encouragement. 2 stone 5 lost still 2 stone to go for me but at week 10 i'm finding it harder and harder to resist!

Fat2Thin & Elaine,
You're both deserving of a medal. All takeaways have been banned from here until i've finished this.
There's no way i'd have been able to resist.

Do you know what though I find it so satisfying to cook, talk about and also read about food when on this diet - it could be seen as torment yes, but it also makes you realise how interesting food is as you cant have it! My CD councellor used to say how one of her clients would bring in cookery books and talk about food non stop and read up on new recipes etc...its quite funny.

Its like when i used to work in mcdonalds - i never really wanted the food as the smell etc was enough to satisfy!

I know it may sound weird but i think it kinda makes sense!

Well done - it so would not have been worth it if you cheated - it never tastes as good as you expect.
