Warning guard your food optomising book!

getting back on track
Can you believe this????? One of the women at group tonight was telling us how she stupidly dropped tinned salmon on her optomising book, for days she has been trying everything she can think of to get rid of the smell, (it has'nt worked it smelled awful) She said she was worried that people thought it was her that smelled, any way we all suggested she ask for a new book which she did, she was told it will cost you £10!!!!! one of the other girls has said she will dig out an old one of her's for her to have because unsurprisingly she is'nt about to part with £10.

Ha Ha I love your thinking seejay, She actually added that she'd let her know when they are on offer again!

Hi Starlight, i hope you're well, I am still reading lol, I could'nt believe it when she said £10.

I registered with SW last week (again) and it only cost £9.50

Wonders if it has just gone back up this week then? will go on their site later and see.

They have to charge the joining fee as they are only intended for new joiners. If a consultant was to give one away they would have to pay for it themselves. There should be a replacement book that is available to existing members at a lower cost. I think it is also to deter people from getting a new book and giving it to someone else.

In January they had some new packs that we were offered for £1.50 so I snapped one up as my old book was really tatty. Now if I lose my new book I've got a back up

Taz this book smelled disgusting, really bad, so much so it was wafting in the hall as she walked round with it, had I been the consultant, i would of given her a new one, out of pity, and just explained the situation to my boss or whoever. It was one of those situations, where smelling is believing lol

Yuk! I would have been sick as I hate fish anyway. I agree that there should be provision for situations like that.
