Okay as most of you know I only lost 1.5 lb this week due to not going for a number 2 - i wasnt constipated I just didnt need to go!

So anyways when I came home last night i had a pint of water with fibreclear and another this morning - This has succeeded in making me need to go but HOLY GOD am i in pain - i would have screamed but im in work - Im now hovering over my chair in work as im in so much pain - kind of like piles:( but its not piles

Please say someone out there has some tips -because im not setting foot in the bathroom until i have a cure!!

I Find Sennakot Better As It Make Stools Loser And Easier To Pass Through One On A Sunday And One A Wedsnesday And Have Had No Problem.

or try ducolax..pretty strong stuff though so would only need 1..as for the tummy pain, take a paracetamol or stand up and walk around..sitting hunched up will only make it worse xx

Hi
I know you can't do this now, but, when you are at home try lying on your left side as this makes your colon empty (and if you feel sick on your right as your stomach empties)and rubbing the bottom left of your stomach sometimes helps
Hope it gets better for you xx

I used ducolease - and its fine - very mild in its action, but effective.

Awwwwww mate I can really, really relate to that:D sorry for laughing I had it over the last couple of weeks, the pain is immense is'nt it, but it does your bum muscles some good as your trying to squash it on its way out:D. It got to the point I just went in the shower after instead of paper....ooops too much info!
Best thing is Dulcoease and dab some nice cooling Sudafed on your now 'ring sting'.
Also I honestly thought it had become TOTM but obviously this aint possible.
Dulcoease go get some now!

Ha!!! Ring sting - I havent heard that in a long long time!!

The pain is going down now - but god only knows what will happen if I need to go again before home time aghhhhhhh

omg FTT, u put sudafed on ur rear end?
call me old fashioned but ive never before heard of ppl using a decongestant (sinus clearing medicine) to ease the sting of a strained rectum. lmao.
im hoping u meant sudacream for nappy rash. hehehe

ive struggled a lot in the past with constipation. went 11 days without going at one point and was in agony .
i tried dulcolax and senokot and neither worked.
However, icemoose (a cambridge councillor) mentioned a natural cure in a post on the cambridge site and it works amazingly well.
just drink 2-3 litres of water within an hour and it will make u go . its incredible how it works so well and yet we all seem to resort to taking medications to help.

Iwould be a bit worried drinking that much water in a short period of time , is it any good for your internal organs , trying to cope.

Can you drink too much water?

if you drink it in a short period of time your body can't cope , thats how some esctacy deaths have happened, over consumption of water it puts to much starin on the organs

OOOOPS meant cream:rotflmao:

in order to cause water intoxication u would need to drink in excess of 8-10 litres of water within a few hours or 12+ litres in a day so providing u are sensible no harm will come of drinking 2-3 litres in an hour.

i would get some lubricant..even soap would do. Go and sit on the lavatory with your feet up on a pile of books, knees bent lean forward, push the lubricant slightly into your anus and open your mouth wide. Now then...i KNOW this sounds bizarre, but it will work.
