My skin feels weird!

Ok I've lost 2 stone now (WOOHOO!) and yes the inches are going down fast (Double WOOHOO!) but my skin is starting to feel really weird and I don't like it one bit (BOOHOO!).
I know it takes a while for your skin to catch up but does it have to feel like I'm wearing someone elses skin that doesn't quite fit in the meantime??? It feel like my skin isn't connected to anything inside me (god that sounds gross!:sign0137:).
Is this just me of does this happen to most people? Oh and does it get better with time?

Hi hon,

How are you, the skin thing sounds a bit strange, but i am sure it will recoil in time.

Hiya Jo I'm doing good. Working my way up the calorie scale at the moment to get ready to go on holiday in a couple of weeks.
How's the 1000 plan suiting you?

I have had no problems with my skin at all...until last week. When I looked in the mirror my tummy looked hideous - all wrinkly and strange  I am rubbing bio oil in - it looks much better :)

I've just told the hubby I'm going to have to bite the bullet and buy some bio oil (I'm to cheap to pay that much just for body oil normally). I showed him how loose my skin is on my chest and he compared me to one of the fantastic 4 (how rude!).

Hi kelly,

I am ok, i have taken the scenic route a bit, but on monday i went to see my cdc and i had put 4lb's on, god i was fed up as you can imagine, anyhow there is no point in me eating my way out of it so i just stay around 1000 - 1200 per day and i weighed my self this morning and i was minus my 4lb so i am just trying to stay focused. So what plan are you on now?

I'm basically doing ss aam at the moment but going up to 810 as of tomorrow (secretly looking forward to a bigish meal! ssshhhh don't tell anyone).

I know exactly what you mean, I was thinking the same this morning laying in bed. Its like it feels looser than everthing else.

kelly, mix your bio iol witha cheaper moisturiser. I know just what you mean about the skin thing!

My skin feels a bit like that..., disconnected with wats underneath..., so like you I'm rubbing lots of Palmers firmer cream into it..... smells yummy!

i get bored with the rubbing! Presumably we need to be doing it a couple of times a day!
i do my neck with the Clarins Jeunesse De Cou and i really have noticed a difference there and am trying ( a bit) with the Bio oil everywhere else. It is expensive (ish) but really does last forever.

Have you thought about trying some exercise? Swimming or yoga etc might help? Or invest in a pilates ball, they are great fun and you can get one for a fiver. I found it helped me last time when I was losing weight.

Re: the bio oil, does that stuff really work? I tried it before but couldn't get on with it because it didn't seem to get absorbed, so I ended up using it as a bath oil (very expensive one I add). Perhaps I need to persevere with it?
