Has anyone ever been to/considered OA?

I am considering contacting my local branch of Overeaters Anonymous. I found a number on the website and need to find out if the info is still accurate. All I know is that their principles are same as AA. I have been to AA in the past and didn't think it was for me and found my own way to beat the booze but I'd be willing to at least go to OA meet and check it out.

Has anybody here ever been or considered it?

Yes I have, but the websote was crap and I didn't get much info anywhere else either. If you do succeed with them, please let me know how you get on.
